I have been in a relationship for over 30 years, and we split up at least 3 times that were awful. The worst was after our dog was run over, both blaming each other, it deteriorated over a few months and then I met a straight, ukrainien gogo dancer who seriously messed with my head …. Anyway I realised he was a crook after a few months but we were still so at war , screaming and shouting and smashing glasses… was insane ! I feel now was all so unnecessary and avoidable had we sat down and had a few honest conversations. We worked it out in the end and are still together over ten years later…. All I can say is be brutally honest and everything slots back into order 👍

@Gustavo Flores it’s a very delicate subject, one that too often is swept under the carpet, sometimes I have met people who considered the abuse normal and were horrified when they came to terms with reality. It’s all about education, if there was more input into teaching young children about their own bodies, what’s acceptable behaviour from others etc it would seriously help break the chain …. But I must be very clear that not all abused children become abusers !!! Then on a lighter note I watch my 4 girls , daschunds .. and they are all raging lesbians 😀
