Sunday Motivation
Gaia types are often taking care of everyone else, and before you know it, the whole day has gone by and you still haven’t taken care of yourself. Athena types can be very busy working and getting things done that they forget to slow down, pause, take time to breathe and relax. Which is similar to the Sonic body type, they love things to move fast, and it can be very hard for the Sonic type to slow down, put their feet up. It’s summertime after all!! Let’s take advantage of it. 😀 this morning, I went kayaking. So today, I want you to ask yourself: what can I do for myself today? I been working on my signature solution and as a sonic, as you said always doing something, so i have decided to chill this afternoon and watch some tv/series to have some me time and relax.
A mini win
@Sue-Anne Hickey suggested as a Gaia I need a regular eating schedule. Start with just eating breakfast at the same time everyday. Easy Peasy right? Nope. I eat breakfast everyday. Mostly the same thing cereal or gluten free toast & fruit. The fruit is generally half a banana and a clementine. You'd think that habit is enough right? Nope. What I noticed when I tried it Sue-Anne's way is breakfast can be anytime from 8:30am to sometime past noon. I wake up at all different times too. So this week I'm being mindful of eating breakfast between 9am & 9:30am. I'm already noticing a small shift. I wake up about the same time now. I'm more alert in the morning. I have never been a morning person! And I'm getting more done. I was sick all week and still got work done without exhausting myself or obsessing. My scale is set to arrive on Thursday. Wish me luck. What small change have you your first small win?

Body Type Tips - Gaia: What is one way you can put yourself first today? Perhaps this might be eating your meals on time? Because I know that’s a challenge for your body type. - Athena: Slow down and notice your portion sizes today. Perhaps that looks like stress management, because I know you tend to look calm on the outside, but you internalize your stress so what are you doing to manage your stress today? - Sonic: Add protein before reaching for caffeine. And maybe that looks like taking some downtime and slowing down and taking a break because I know you work too hard and rarely rest. I want to hear what you are working on today

@Sue-Anne Hickey i normally add pumpkin and sunflower seeds to my yogurt as well blueberries and raspberries. I normally add walnuts or pecans to my chia pudding. Need to look out for hemp seeds!! Thanks 😊

Gone to my local market and bought different berries at an amazing price and they were so good compared with supermarket ones!!! Think my Saturday’s morning after practice with Nik will be a trip to the market and getting fresh produce from local farmers 🥰
