@Kimberly Armatys i want all of those to be true for you.
Assignment: 🌩️ When the Power Goes Out: Unplugging in a Storm 🌿
Yesterday, the storm rolled in, and with it—poof—went the power. No internet, no phone (once the battery died), and no electricity. At first, it felt like a jolt. But then, something unexpected happened: I remembered how to slow down. Without screens or distractions, I found myself: - Sipping tea by candlelight (with a drop of Lavender for calm). - Flipping through an old journal, rediscovering forgotten thoughts. - A book I had started reading on Anti-Inflammatory Diet (even had some highlights in it too) - Listening to the rain and the quiet hum of the house settling. It got me thinking: How do you unwind when the world goes offline? Whether it’s a storm, a digital detox, or just a moment of intentional pause, what’s your go-to way to reconnect with yourself? Drop your favorite device-free rituals below—I’d love to steal a few ideas! ☕📖 #Unplugged #StormSeason #MindfulMoments

@Kimberly Armatys I love that. Random quilt projects below. Does she have a theme for the baby room? Some of my favorite baby quilts have come by way of starting with one of the crib sheets they picked out, and working around it for my fabrics and design. The monster's inc one was that way.

@Kimberly Armatys I find piecing the blocks to be quite calming. I have less happy thoughts about trying to quilt them on my home machine. I actually have quite a few quilt tops that are just stored away until I get around to sandwiching and quilting, or get the budget to send to the longarm quilter.
How are you SEEN in communities?
Let’s celebrate what changes you’ve SEEN in how you’re showing up in communities? Are members liking and or commenting on your posts or comments? And are you reciprocating? Who’s on Leaderboards? PS - just an observation I’m seeing in communities is that members are adding comments, but there’s not many likes on comments. Let’s thank that member with a like for taking time to comment. Skool gives you points for likes and this is another way we can give back more than we receive in communities.

I love this idea. I always try to like responses to my comments. Sometimes I get a little distracted, but I try. I also try to keep the conversation going when I can.

@Kimberly Armatys I'm not sure I've ever looked at my dashboard.

@Cate Evatt-Davey I'm in a couple of paid circle communities. they're fine, but I prefer the setup here on Skool. What type of communities are you building?

@Cate Evatt-Davey I love those concepts.
🌱 Assignment: Your Voice Matters — Why We Show Up in Community 🌱
We just celebrated a group of bold souls who committed to 30 days of action here. Their energy is electric. You’ve probably seen them sharing wins, asking questions, and lifting others up in the communities we all belong to. So let’s talk about why we engage in communities in the first place. Growth happens when we step into the open. Your story might be the spark someone else needs. Showing up, even IMPERFECTLY, creates ripples far beyond what we can see. Here’s the truth: This is your space. A place to practice, stumble, celebrate, and connect. Whether you dive into the self-paced course or join the next challenge, your presence matters. The community thrives when you do. So tell us: What’s one small way you’ll jump in this week? A comment? A question? A share? Drop it below. We’re cheering for you. P.S. Need a nudge? Reply “VISIBLE” and we’ll send you a little encouragement to get started. #ShowUpForYou #CommunityOverCompetition #SacredNaturalCreations

@Kimberly Armatys i get that, it's just that a like doesn't need a reply and I'd love an easy way to get thru things that need a reply 1st.
