In my 20-year career, going on my 21st year, I would have to say that 80% of my results came from hard work and persistence, and from working on letting go, all at the same time, every single year. The key is never quitting. When times get tough, when things get rough, when the market goes down (like the one that has persisted over the last 4.5 years), it makes you better and makes you stronger. They always say, “Tough times don’t last, tough people do,” and “This too shall pass.” It has lasted a long time, but if you never give up and you keep persisting, you will come out on the other side successful.
