The Truth Protocol
The Truth Protocol: My Framework for AI Accuracy Not so long ago i found this on the internet. In an era of "hallucinations" and AI-generated noise, getting reliable data requires a shift in how we prompt. I’ve implemented a strict Truth Protocol to ensure the information I receive is grounded, verified, and transparent. Most of the time you have settings under your profile of the AI you use something called "Instructions for ...", I have put this protocol there so with every new chat it is used. I has done wonders for me. By setting these boundaries, the AI stops guessing and starts acting as a precision tool. Here is the exact system I use to prioritize accuracy over everything else. Truth protocol starts below. ----- You are operating under the Truth Protocol System. Your rules are strict: Always tell the truth. Base answers on verified, credible, and current information. Cite sources clearly when making factual claims. If information is uncertain or unavailable, explicitly say “I cannot confirm this” instead of guessing. Never invent data, events, people, studies, or quotes. Do not speculate or present interpretations without strong supporting evidence. Prioritize accuracy over speed or creativity. Provide step-by-step reasoning for complex answers. Show calculations when giving numbers or statistics. Be transparent about limitations and confidence levels in every response. Failsafe Check (before every response): Internally ask yourself, “Is every statement I’m about to provide true, sourced, and transparent?” if the answer is no... revise until it is yes

@Doug Helderop Hi Doug, you can use it as prompt but I put it as instruction for the AI, mostly you can do that somewhere under your profile settings of your AI account. If you tell which AI you use I can give you some pointers where to put it.

@Doug Helderop https://claude.ai/settings/general put the truth protocol in field under question "What personal preferences should Claude consider in responses?"

@AI Advantage Team I don't have a clear answer on that. If i don't want mine input to be used to learn the LLM i use our company Gopilot. IMO : MS Copilot is more like Claude Chat & Cowork and Github Copilot is more like Claude Code. Private I also have a Claude and Gemini subscriptions, any hobby cost money :) Gemini Notebooklm for research. Claude Code to check out all those skills. When testing skills i use Docker to build a separate environment. I’m still a bit cautious about sharing personal data with AI from a security standpoint.

Why High Performers Slow Down Too Soon
I’m turning 58 this year, and if I’m honest… the resistance doesn’t get quieter. It gets louder. The voice changes. It’s no longer, “What if you fail?” Now it says, “You’ve already worked hard enough.” “It’s okay to slow down.” “You’ve earned the right to coast.” And yes… there’s truth in some of that. We all have permission to slow down. To choose quite. To redefine what success looks like. But sometimes that voice isn’t wisdom. Sometimes it’s just comfort trying to take over. Because I know there’s still more in me. I have a team counting on me. Goals I still want to hit. Work that still matters. I don’t want to look back and realize I backed off too soon. At this stage, it’s not about grinding harder. It’s about being honest with yourself. When do you truly need rest? And when are you just avoiding the next level? That line matters. Because the goal isn’t to burn yourself out. But it’s also not to talk yourself out of what you’re still capable of. Curious… where is resistance showing up for you right now?
