Filming recs
What tripods have people found helpful with their setup? Noticing mine is filming slightly tilted and also falling over. Is it better to shoot horizontal or vertically? Horizontal covers the entire court but vertical translates better to iPhone reels video format

This is what I use and we’ve had a couple of windy days it was fine. Great quality for $20. EUCOS Newest 62" Phone Tripod,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XHZ8F7F?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Level Up Your Posts 🎾
Hey April Challengers! We have one suggestion to make your experience even better — start posting as Reels instead of Stories. We’re not changing your rules, just encouraging it because Reels stick around. That means in a few weeks you’ll actually be able to scroll back and see how much you’ve improved. And don’t worry — you can hide it from your grid if you don’t want it on your profile. That’s an easy solve! Want to see what great content looks like? Check out these challengers who are absolutely killing it @Everett: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DX5--lUMYqO/ @Anson: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DX5S5gVPkv3/ @Junior: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DXqR-70DqWy/ @Steven: https://www.instagram.com/reels/DX4qVtaJLp2/ Hey @Everett Boyer @Anson Xie @Anastacio Flores Jr @Steven Zhou — can you drop some quick advice in the comments on how you approach filming your Reels? The community would love to learn from you!

Similar to Steven and Anson, I set up my tri-pod behind me and or by the net to have different angles. I got a little remote and record short sessions and then find some good clips to share.
WOW We have a consistent group!!!
There are still 22 of you in the Play Tennis Challenge! Let’s give each other huge kudos for showing up consistently rain or shine!! 1 month in, how do we feel? Has your game improved at all? Has it been easier to show up? (Or harder?) We want to know! Drop them in the comments! ALSO we are opening up a May cohort for the challenge this week! Same rules as you guys! Same chance to win a free racquet! (Their challenge will just run through July!) If you have any friends who are interested tell them to DM us CHALLENGE and we will send them the info!

Yup, got a routine going - last week I played twice and might be the norm going forward. Fitness is improving and the strokes as well. The Play Tennis Challenge is definitely a great incentive but I’m already reaping the rewards after 5 weeks. Looking forward to a meetup with the other challengers.
Week 2
Hello everyone! Congrats on your first week of posting! Proud of you all for posting some cool and fun videos! We had some people already dropping out, so I wanted to ask you all on what are you enjoying so far and what you are having trouble with!

I went out early this evening and a co-worker tagged along. It was pretty nice out. We played at Terra Bay Tennis Courts in SSF and will try to play on either Wednesday or Thursday evening every week.

@Bryan Chung It’s going well, picked up an eZone 98, I really like it. I mentioned at a meeting during an ice breaker that I play tennis for self care and after the meeting, one of my colleagues came up to me and I told him that I’m doing a Tennis Challenge with City Racquet Shop in the city and he said he knew the owner, Bryan. Oh wow, small world. His name is Eliseo, I’ve worked with him in the county for over 20 years. He said you guys were doubles partners. That is so cool.

Please comment below and introduce yourself: 1️⃣ Where are you located? 2️⃣ Are you a player, coach, stringer, or shop owner? 3️⃣ What racquet and strings do you currently use? 4️⃣ What do you want to learn most about? I read every introduction and try to respond when I can.
