No video Q&A tonight
Sorry! I won’t be able to do a video Q&A tonight. But I can take questions here!

@William Cheng I wish I had that kind of stat! A lot of times people really want to try out the newest racquets, or what some of the top pros are playing with. String wise, most don’t care what strings that are on the demo racquets, but I hole to educate the customers more on this!

@Jeff Sheng are you asking about outright brand new models of racquets, like when Wilson first introduced the clash and the shift? Or what their cadence on new versions of the racquets, like we just got the blade version 10 in middle of April.
Difference in tension between the mains and the crosses for a poly-poly blend
Hey all, just wondering if anyone has any experience with string poly crosses at a different tension than their poly mains? I’m thinking about testing stringing the crosses 2lbs lower than the mains because I hear that it improves forgiveness and spin, but I hear differing opinions online. If anyone has any personal experiences with this, I would love to learn!

lowering the tensions in the crosses will help the mains move a little more freely, so the snap back effects happens more. its the same thing if you switched the shaped cross strings to a round cross strings to allow more of a glide for the mains.
Filming recs
What tripods have people found helpful with their setup? Noticing mine is filming slightly tilted and also falling over. Is it better to shoot horizontal or vertically? Horizontal covers the entire court but vertical translates better to iPhone reels video format

Thank you for asking! I have used this portable tripod. It is great as a stand by itself. It has 3 folding arms so you can extend it however you like. it also rotates on the last arm. it use the mag-safe feature to magnetically hold onto your phone, but it also has metal rings to attach to your phone too. it has a little carabiner that I've hooked onto the fence itself. it also has a magnet backing to also attach to the metal wall. I have kept it in my jacket pocket all the time to carry it everywhere. If you get the pro version, it has a screw at the bottom to attach to a tripod if you like as well. https://a.co/d/059bRNQU
Play Tennis Challenge - Welcome
Welcome to Tennis Den! If you’re here because you want in on our Play Tennis Challenge, this is your home base. Read this first. Video guidelines are at the bottom. What’s the Play Tennis Challenge? A 12-week challenge where you play tennis, post about it, build skills, and a few of you walk away with a brand new $300 racquet on us. Yes, actually free. We’ve done this twice already and the community that’s come out of it is unreal. New for June: Enrollment has steps now. Step 1 — Be active in Tennis Den. Comment on other people’s posts, share your wins on Fridays, jump in on Q&As. You’re earning points (and meeting people) just by being here. Step 2 — Reach Level 2. You’ll level up as people engage with what you post. Skool tracks this automatically — you can see your level on your profile. Aim for Level 2 by your enrollment Zoom. Step 3 — Show up to an enrollment Zoom with Bryan. Pick one: • Friday, May 29 — 6:00–7:00pm • Saturday, May 30 — 9:00–10:00am Both cover the same info. The Zoom link will drop in this group 24 hours before each call. Step 4 — Fill out the enrollment form. https://forms.gle/h3DRxVLMAnf8aQeK7 Takes 2 minutes. Beginners absolutely welcome — we have spots reserved for total newcomers. Why the new format? Honestly — because past cohorts taught us that the people who get the most out of the challenge are the ones who actually want a community. We’re putting community first now. Free racquet, same as before. But you’re going to be playing tennis with these people for 12 weeks. Let’s make sure it’s a crew you actually want to hang with. Shoot us a a DM if anything’s unclear. See you on court
(Late) Shoutout
Strong videos to shoutout this week https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYL4YV-t83G/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== @Everett Boyer I love how you are engaging your viewers to see if you'll make it to your goal! Keep up the great work! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYPb21YpG4p/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== @Po Tsui I hope you are enjoying your new ball machine! A great tool to help get the repetition in! Keep up the great work everyone! My team and I are watching your videos and we are happy to see all the great videos! The biggest thing is that you all are showing up! For those of you who are posting your videos as reels, are you looking at progress yourself? Or do you post and forget about it? If you are looking for improvement in your tennis, you look at your tennis videos. If you are looking to better your videos, you review what you have posted and see what you can tweak in getting better, and this also applies to your tennis as well! Comment on what kind of changes are you doing in your tennis or videos and comment on what you are going to try to improve for next week!
