🎾 PSA: August Play Tennis Challenge enrollment is OPEN
This is your official invite. We're now accepting applications for the August cohort of the Play Tennis Challenge: 12 weeks, one Reel a week, and a FREE racquet up to $300 for everyone who finishes. 👉 Apply here: https://forms.gle/qjXmzdVPCqtczyhX7 One big reminder before you hit that form: you must be Level 2 in Tennis Den before the challenge starts. Not there yet? It's easier than you think: - Ask a question (any question, string tension debates welcome) - Drop your takes on all things tennis - Comment on other members' posts and check-ins - Show up consistently and you'll hit Level 2 fast Spots cap around 20 per cohort, so don't sit on this. And to our challengers finishing up right now: you know better than anyone what 12 weeks of consistent tennis does for your game. Tell your friends! Send them to our Instagram @cityracquetshop and have them DM us "CHALLENGE" for the full rundown of what to expect. August 1st, we're off. See you on the court 🎾

Challenge will start in August. Post then. Most likely we are going to have week one start Monday August 3rd. You have from Monday till Sunday to play tennis and post within that week.
Tennis Racquet Demo
I am testing out the Wilson Blade and love it so far! Excited to get out to play again with it.

Hey Molly! How has the Ultra Pro 99 working for you? You liked the Blade 98 16x19, But you did not like the Ezone 100+. I am curious on what your thoughts are on the Ultra 99 pro!

@Molly Shannon you may like having a stiffer string setup to have more of your energy go directly into the ball. I think the ultra has softer strings so more of the energy would be used to stretch the strings. In a way it would give you more power because of the trampoline effect, but the rebound effect may not work for you to get power that way.
Play Tennis Challenge - Welcome
Welcome to Tennis Den! If you’re here because you want in on our Play Tennis Challenge, this is your home base. Read this first. Video guidelines are at the bottom. What’s the Play Tennis Challenge? A 12-week challenge where you play tennis, post about it, build skills, and a few of you walk away with a brand new $300 racquet on us. Yes, actually free. We’ve done this twice already and the community that’s come out of it is unreal. New for June: Enrollment has steps now. Step 1 — Be active in Tennis Den. Comment on other people’s posts, share your wins on Fridays, jump in on Q&As. You’re earning points (and meeting people) just by being here. Step 2 — Reach Level 2. You’ll level up as people engage with what you post. Skool tracks this automatically — you can see your level on your profile. Aim for Level 2 by your enrollment Zoom. Step 3 — Show up to an enrollment Zoom with Bryan. Pick one: • Friday, May 29 — 6:00–7:00pm • Saturday, May 30 — 9:00–10:00am Both cover the same info. The Zoom link will drop in this group 24 hours before each call. Step 4 — Fill out the enrollment form. https://forms.gle/h3DRxVLMAnf8aQeK7 Takes 2 minutes. Beginners absolutely welcome — we have spots reserved for total newcomers. Why the new format? Honestly — because past cohorts taught us that the people who get the most out of the challenge are the ones who actually want a community. We’re putting community first now. Free racquet, same as before. But you’re going to be playing tennis with these people for 12 weeks. Let’s make sure it’s a crew you actually want to hang with. Shoot us a a DM if anything’s unclear. See you on court

@Evelyn Obamos August would be the next cohort.
What’s one tennis tip that instantly improved your game?
Mine was learning to watch the ball a little longer before contact. Curious what helped everyone else.
