@Kim Garst , not yet, BTW, how would you compare the output from its Bing plugin vis a vis Claude?

@Alanna Borges I just completed a project on market research and am pretty pleased with ChatGPT's output using bing comapared with what I used to get with Webpilot before . I haven't compared my results with Claude yet, I will know tomorrow.

@Kim Garst , Dimon was also hypercritical of remote working, and in the same Bloomberg interview, he also said that AI would replace jobs because technology has always done so. This conversation missed one key question - what will these AI-powered systems do to real wages of those whose skills would be replaced by AI and automation. We are already seeing some of that happening in healthcare, especially for radiologists since AI can interpret scans faster (and much cheaper) , and this week, I heard that consulting firms are rescinding offers for new MBA grads. I think the future would be very interesting .. to say the least.

@Kim Garst We, the people in this community, have already taken the first steps. In our day-to-day work as agency owners or entrepreneurs, AI will become more prevalent, and we need to be driving the change or risk being driven out by this change. AI has now become a buzzword, and there is a lot of noise, just like what we saw in the late nineties when dot com buzz started. Many, like Webvan, indeed folded ( I am showing my age by bringing those old comparisons). Yet, Amazon (and other web retailers) led to the demise of Books a Million and Borders, not to mention a lot of other brick-and-mortar retail operations. I wonder if people remember those. I worry about the next generation. When today's high school kids graduate using Chat GPT for writing school essays... what kind of PAID jobs will they be qualified for .. so that they can afford to raise their families .. without being dependent on parents? Anybody.. heard of a new term.. "full-time children ".. Jamie mentioned a workweek of 3 and a half days.. I wonder if JP Morgan will provide their employees a 3-and-a-half-day work week with the same wages as for a five day week, or they will hire fewer people for lower real wages like so many others are openly talking about.

Indeed, Llama is supposed to come up with a new version in November and Apple is trying to improve Siri. There are other like Databricks, Cohere and many more but the pace of adoption at this moment seems to have widened the chasm between these 3 - Open AI, Google and Anthropic and the rest. But it is still very early days and who knows what the world of AI would like like 1 year from now. Anthropic by the way got investment from both Google and Amazon.😊
