Lindsey Clancy... Anyone else watching?
I'm watching Lawyer you know who is keeping a lot of the gory details out of the comentary. Trying to decide if I dive into the gore... It's a hard one for me as a Mum who had PND.

@Jo Minnery I can see why it sounds like a lot. My own experience with postpartum depression came with a cocktail of meds. But also my experience (very limited) in mental health settings for my nurse training 25+ years ago doesn't see anything overly concerning at first glance. There are other issues I see, but not the list of meds. It's also not unusual to ask mental health patients to keep a log of mood and meds. Or at least it wasn't 25 years ago - it was common practice.

@Jo Minnery Yeah - I can't say I am thrilled with the prosecutor. Apparently, the defence stipulated to everything they brought in from the husband (like the collecting dinner, the pharmacy, etc) and the defence refused to let it be stipulated and insisted on questioning. That just makes me mad.
Something Lighter... Back to EDB & Kouri Richins
Ruling on Defense Disqualification of Judge M in the Kouri Richins Case. EDB does tend to draw out the conversations... I tend to have her on in the background as a body double - and if I'm just watching I speed her up to 2.5 times speed. I'll share my TLDR in the comments.

Case Of The Week - The D4vd / Celeste Rivas Hernandez Case
This new Law&Crime update is a good place to start but this thread is for the whole case so far. What detail has stayed with you most? What still doesn’t make sense? And what do you think people are overlooking? Share the videos, reports or details that shaped your view below.

I'm watching Lawyer You Know's recap - with some reports from people in the room. It's days 1 and 2 - not sure if he has more uploaded yet.
Mackenzie Shirilla — "The Crash"
In July 2022, 17-year-old Mackenzie Shirilla crashed her car at 100 mph, killing her boyfriend Dominic Russo, 20, and his friend Davion Flanagan, 19. She survived and called herself a third victim. Prosecutors said this wasn't an accident, evidence showed she sped up to 100 mph on a dead-end street and deliberately slammed into a brick wall, allegedly to end a relationship with Russo that was described in court as toxic. Her defense argued the opposite: that she blacked out, and the medical evidence couldn't rule that out. In 2023 she was found guilty of four counts of murder along with other charges, and sentenced to life in prison with parole eligibility after 15 years. She's not expected to have a parole hearing until September 2037. The case resurfaced this year with Netflix's documentary "The Crash," and it's been dividing people ever since, some are convinced by the deliberate-crash theory, others think the blackout defense deserves more weight. I haven't watched The Crash yet so I've added Court TV's latest on the case so everyone can access. Where do you land after watching? Intentional, or a genuine blackout? Drop your take below ⬇️

I haven't watched the documentary - but I have been watrching the appeal which appears to have been rejected based on being untimely filed - to quote EDB: But Your Honour, Leap Year... Curious to see how it continues to pan out. Not sure I can cope with a docu - but might see if any of my favourite lawtubers covered it when it was in court.
