🚨 Trading and Investing Workshop
I promised you I’d have an announcement on a workshop for you guys. I really feel like some of us have strayed from a sustainable path to freedom, maybe fallen victim to a little “shiny object” syndrome. This workshop will fix that and teach you the best path I know to building toward the lifestyle you want. Here are the steps in order: 1) Develop an income skill that is not tied to an employer or your time. This can be day trading for you, but we need to improve at the skill. This should be something you can do in less than an hour a day just by easily noticing the most obvious things. Day 1 of the workshop will teach you how from the ground up. 2) Scale that income so you have meaningful money to invest. If you want to bridge the wealth gap and get ahead in today’s world, you have to be an asset owner. So we need that extra income to dump some gasoline on that process. Day 2 I’ll teach you the safest, most effective way to scale your trading income (like in screenshot 1). 3) Turn assets into passive cashflow That’s literally the whole point. To do that we need enough assets. But just as important we need to be funding the right assets based on where the world is going, otherwise we’re missing massive opportunities. We also need access to those assets earlier in life. If you’re “just doing your basic 401k/IRAs” or “wish you didn’t have to wait until age 60” you should attend this. Day 3 I’ll be using direct experience as an RIA owner and private fund manager to teach you (like in screenshot 2). The workshop will be 3 days all starting at 7pm EST. - Day 1 - Tuesday September 1 - Day 2 - Wednesday September 2 - Day 3 - Thursday September 3 It will be absolutely free for everyone to attend. You need this info. ✅ If you’d like the invite link just comment “ATTEND” below

Quick Question
Why does Alm not allow me to chose my PA account? Notice in screenshot that only my EA is available. The PA account is shaded and cannot be selected.

I believe it’s because you are not in the boardroom so you can only have EA accounts with the Freedom group.

@Shane Petersen I saw in one of the threads on Kyle's groups that some people got their PA accounts cancelled after getting notification from Apex that they were using automated trading. Not sure if those were legacy accounts or not, but Apex always had the following in their automation trading rules - seems that they didn't enforce it in the past, but since they did enforce recently, I personally will never bet my money on using automation with them in the future. Their rules says "At Apex Trader Funding, the use of automation is strictly prohibited on all account types. This includes any form of AI (Artificial Intelligence), Autobots, algorithms, fully automated trading systems, and high-frequency trading (HFTs). These types of systems that trade without active human intervention are not allowed."
A Few more questions
I have a few questions after going through more of the Zero to Launch videos. Some, or all, may sound really stupid, but im ok looking stupid to get clarity. LOL 1. Do you wait for the trade to play out after execution, as in you sit at your computer to see if you win or lose the trade, or do you set it and go back end of day? 2. Do you create the trade in EA account (or PA accounts for that matter), or through trading view? 3. Is there a trailing drawdown in funded accounts?

It's a lot to absorb if you are new to this, so no worries about asking questions. To answer your questions: 1. Ideally you want to be next to your computer, but usually if you set up a trade according to what Kyle teaches you, you let it run its course. The only issue to note is that all trades must be closed at the end of trading day. Futures markets close at 5pm EST and reopen at 6pm EST. So you must be out of your trade before the close or your EA/PA account will be liquidated. Different prop firms have slightly different times that you have to close the trade - Apex requires that you close by 4:59pm. So if you do leave your computer, make sure to come back and look at it before close time to make sure your traded finalized. 2. There are a few places you can create the trade. The most common with Kyles teaching is using TradingView (in my experience it is the easiest one since you do all your charting there), but you can also use the Tradovate's platform (the trading broker) or Ninja Trader. 3. Yes. It depends on the account size you purchase and prop firms provide all the info when you browse the different plan options. Usually $50K accounts, for example, will have $2,000-$2,5000 trailing drawdown, depending on the plan.

@Tony Fonte correct, you should not have any open orders or any active trades in session when market closes (check specific rules of when is the last closing time with the prop form you’re using). Regardless, you’ll learn that most trades are done in the morning session and it is rare to have anything in the afternoon, so that usually should not be a problem.
