Potential Private Lender follow ups
How is everyone creating their follow up process or nurture campaign for potential lenders after you host a private lender event. What’s been most successful for you and how often do you follow up?

Finding investors
I suppose this is different for everybody. And maybe this is a topic that has been covered in the content in the "classroom" in a section I haven't even gotten to yet. But how does everyone FIND the people they approach to ask about investing with them? I ask because even though I have some family and friends who are...not rich...but have some money for sure...even though I have those people in my life, I've never been one who likes the idea of "selling" to friends and family. It just feels slimy and like that puts YOU as the guy who...Always has a million plans and goals and dreams that he's talking about...and they all start when? Tomorrow! It's a matter of positioning I guess, but I'd rather hit up complete strangers. If something goes south (let's be honest, nobody has intentions of that happening, but this is reality and it DOES happen sometimes because you're not the only party involved in the deal). So where does anyone find people to invest? G'ahead...roast me in the comments for not knowing stuff πŸ˜‚

@Edward Meyers I can understand your frustration and confusion on the question of "where does anyone find people to invest?". Here are my suggestions: 1. First create a persona of your ideal private money lender (PML). I call it your ideal avatar. Because without this, you are shooting in the dark. For example; dentist with solo practice. 2. Create a pitch deck that speaks to your avatar. Ex: I help solo practicing dentist invest in real estate passively by earning double digit returns. 3. Find out where you avatar hangs out. Ex: national/regional dentist convention, national/regional dental associations. 4. Find a way to collaborate and/or advertise at these events/organizations. 5. Schedule appointments from inquiries and use your pitch deck. 6. Onboard PML, serve them - repeat process. DM me if you have questions...
