Lesson 3 Discussion: What Would Save You the Most Repeated Correction?
Think about the four areas you explored in Lesson 3: Communication Working Preferences Goals and Context Boundaries and Authority Which area contains something you repeatedly have to explain, correct, or remind AI about? Share one thing you wish AI understood more consistently that could reduce repeated explanation, correction, or rework. Start your response by identifying the area. For example: Communication: I prefer shorter answers unless I ask for more detail. or Boundaries and Authority: I want AI to ask me before making an important assumption. You don't need to solve or configure anything yet. We're identifying what matters most before we test it in Lesson 4. Only share information you are comfortable making visible to the community. Working Preferences: I prefer AI to help me organize thoughts, ideas, and to elaborate (concisely) what could be different. As well as examine my own thinking instead of giving me an answer. My goal is to identify the gaps and inconsistencies in my own thinking and work to enable me to work through a problem while analyzing other possible outcomes.
Lesson 1 Discussion: What do you wish AI already understood about you?
You’ve completed Lesson 1: Why Generic AI Falls Short? Now think about your own experience using AI. What is one thing you repeatedly have to tell, correct, explain, or remind AI about? Maybe it’s how you like information presented. Maybe it’s how much detail you want. Maybe it’s something about your goals or the way you work. Share one example in the comments. Don’t try to solve it yet. We’re identifying the pattern first. There are no perfect answers here. The goal is to begin noticing where AI repeatedly needs better direction from you. Human First. AI Second.™

Shorter, more concise answers.
Lesson 2 Discussion: Prompt or Preference?
Think about something you often tell AI. Is it mainly an instruction for one task, or does it describe how you generally want AI to work with you? Share one example in the comments and label it: Task Instruction or Working Preference Don't worry about configuring anything yet. We're learning to recognize the difference first. Human First. AI Second.™

Working Preference: I often use AI to organize and question thoughts, find relevant gaps, and work through it with me to a desired outcome.
