Hey everyone! It was so nice talking with you all during the live today. I had such a great time chatting with people who enjoy talking about worms as much as I do! I wanted to pass along two of my favorite ( besides Cherene's of course) YouTube channels. The first is all about soil health, which ties directly into healthy worm castings and creating thriving gardens. I've learned so much from him. The second dives into Bokashi, composting, soil biology, and all kinds of fascinating topics. He's incredibly knowledgeable. Honestly, both of these guys are. They really geek out over this stuff, and I absolutely love learning from them. www.youtube.com/@notillgrowers www.youtube.com/@GrowingwiththeGriffins

Look At This!!!
I was looking in on my worms after ignoring them for 3-4 days (I'm getting better at that) and didn't even notice this while checking out my tower and the @Cherene Packard Nursery. Took me a minute to grasp all the color I was seeing in my breeder bin and what it was! Guess there was some active spores left in the substrate! Shot the video and then looked at the other nursery. That's the still photo! What an adventure!

@Cherene Packard You are awesome! And, yes the compost "foodilizer" seems pretty rich. I put squash in there this time and I know the worms love that. They went crazy for it. I'll put an update here in a few to show how it's going.

Protein poisoning
Hey Everyone, I’d like to thank you all for your help over the last couple weeks but I unfortunately lost my worm bin to protein poisoning 😔

Oh no! I’m so sorry about that. Thank you for posting in here so I know what to look for and now I’m definitely thinking to split my huge bin up.
