Are pocket squares right-wing political symbols?
Ash from The Chap's Guide discusses an article in the London Financial Times that posits this supposition and pocket squares in general. https://youtube.com/watch?v=j7uq_FFVq6I&pp=0gcJCU8JAYcqIYzv

Preparing to buy my first proper suit
Hello gentlemen. It’s been a while since I last posted. I’m going through a challenging academic year and I’m trying to manage my school work in the best way possible, leaving me with less free time. Happy new year to everyone. On the bright side, I’m in the final stages of buying my first suit and I have located the possible stores that I’ll be trusting. I am still puzzled about the fit however. I have a slimmer build and a fairly good V shape with my shoulders. That being said, my chinos are all in slim fit because I like the way they compliment my height and build without being too skinny. I’ve seen a lot of slim fit suit hate online, however, and I wanted your opinions. Charles Tyrwhitt offers pictures of the way their suits fit online, so I’ll be attaching them in the following order: 1. Classic jacket 2. Slim jacket 3. Classic pants 4. Slim pants Do keep in mind that I am 18 years old and I’ll be wearing this suit at my graduation. I feel like getting something too wide will make me look like I borrowed my dad’s suit. I really like the way the waist is tapered in the slim fit jacket by the way and I feel like it gives a nice modern look. What do you gentlemen think?

@Eric Willett some of the stores in my city offer borderline skinny suits that look horrendous. That’s why I’ve broadened my search and included Charles Tyrwhitt too, since I can always return very easily something that doesn’t quite fit well. I’ve also used the store in the past so I know my sizes

@Rafael Frias thank you for the comment. I’ve saved up a respectable amount of money over the last year in order to invest in something more expensive. I’ll definitely check out your suggestions as well

I do not believe I could survive in the northern United States or certain areas Europe. The wind chill is 11 degrees today, and I may have found the layering limit for the pea coat 🤣. Todays outfit: Light blue Twillory dress shirt Thick grey cotton trousers Insulated green wool quarter zip Black pea coat

Sharp look!
Watch position on a sweater
I've never ran into this problem.... Except on this sweater. I feel like in any position, my Seiko looks awkward with how these cuffs are. Any advice? Should I just opt for a low profile watch such as my Casio instead? Any help welcome

I usually do what you did right here and cover half or the whole face with the sweater. Alternatively, I let the watch slip a bit lower on my wrist
