@James Humecky Ok. Well hopefully that is where people end up. Are you doing individual, couples or group work? Coaching? Teaching? Therapist-ing? How did you land on the name Somatic Pleasure?

@James Humecky Neuro-Somatic Embodiment is developed through the daily practice of a specific set of tools. It's not the only set of tools in the world, but it's a great set that helps people manage themselves better emotionally, around stress and such, but also empowers them to develop higher states of awareness and presence that are stable. Includes movement, breath, visualization/imagery to work in the subconscious mind, and some other cool things.

Setting limits in 1:1 work👀🤔
How did you define: → the minimum your client must do to get results → vs the maximum you’re willing to provide? I’m trying to understand where the real line is between :support vs over-delivery. Would love to hear how you approached this 🤸‍♂️⬇️

I've been doing 1:1 therapy with people for many years. I see how quickly people change if they do the thing every. single. day. Regulate. Every. Day! I've taught the same thing to people over time, years sometimes in 1:1, and have packaged coaching into cohorts and 1:1 high ticket programs. I've noticed it takes 6-9 weeks of dedicated practice to change a nervous system, 6 month to anchor and sustain the change, and then forever to reinforce the change. People change as quickly (or as slowly) as they want/can. I've noticed, the longer the program, the longer people take. The shorter the program the quicker people gett'r dun. Limits of 1:1 therapy - the bell goes off at 45 mins or 55 mins. In coaching, I'll tell you what to do then it's up to you to do the thing to get the results in 6-9 weeks.

@Dani Rabinovich by the time they get to me they are ready to start. I work with a lot of therapists and high achievers so once they decide to look for help, find me, we decide to work together -they are ready. Even so, some people need coaching in my way or your way. And if they could with their way they'd've already figured it out lol.
