High Performers Do One Thing Differently
High performers don’t eliminate stress. They recover faster. The real skill is resetting your nervous system quickly so stress doesn’t accumulate. Small daily resets create massive long-term resilience. Think of it like brushing your teeth — but for your nervous system. Question: What’s one thing that reliably helps you reset?

I love this post and this question! Breathing always helps me. I noticed a long time ago that I often hold my breath when I'm emotionally triggered and if I can start breathing consciously as soon as I notice, things reset a lot faster than if I ignore it. What about you, Knexell?

@Knexell Miole How about you, Knexell?
60-Second Reset
If your nervous system feels overloaded today, try this: 1️⃣ Inhale slowly through your nose 2️⃣ Pause briefly 3️⃣ Exhale longer than the inhale Repeat 5 times. Longer exhales signal the nervous system that it’s safe to downshift. This is one of the simplest ways to interrupt a stress spiral. Check in: How do you feel after 5 slow breaths?

This is what we do here! 🎯
Some people carry more than what others can see.
Therapists, clinicians, caregivers, doctors, and high achievers often carry emotional stories, responsibilities, expectations, and the pressure to always be strong — quietly and every single day. Burnout is not always loud.Sometimes it looks like being productive but exhausted, caring but empty, strong but overwhelmed. If you are someone who carries a lot for others, this is your reminder:You are allowed to put the weight down sometimes. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to be human, not just strong. You don’t have to carry everything alone. If this speaks to you, comment “I’m learning to put the weight down.”

I'm learning. For sure! Thanks for the reminder to stop trying to carry it all.

I do! but not like I used to. When I think of clients in between sessions now I send them good energy or good will just to acknowledge they are on my mind but to also give an energetic assist for whyever they crossed my mind.
