Not broken. Walking the path that is meant for you.
So many times I felt broken, sometimes I felt like I was too much, and lately I know, for sure, that the path that opens before me was chosen by me. At first, unconsciously. I thought Life happened TO me. And as I awaken more and more and live in awareness, consciously I recognize I’ve been walking it all along. All along I’ve been met with what has been needed to steer me and guide me toward my highest potential. At times I still feel like I’m bursting out breaking apart, or that I’m walking in mud. This 3D world is dichotomous, painful sometimes, and confusing and doubt producing. It’s tricky to live outside of that drone of density that comes out of our phones and TVs and devices, and sometimes out of the ones we love. At first, challenged to find our wholeness, our wellness as we go through the fire of LIFE, and forge our strength with the light of awareness. Through our own healing, we serve. We are not broken. We are breaking open so all the light can shine on our paths of service. So much of Life causes us to brace against the sensations in the body, to live in the head, a mental existence, online, in books, thinking, planning, deciding, processing information... blah blah blah. What happens when we begin to live inside our bodies? Through the practice of embodiment. Which is the practice of nervous system regulation. Which is the practice of noticing moment to moment awareness, and practicing being in touch with what’s going on right now. Right. Now. The Present Moment is all we have. It’s the one that matters most. What are you thinking and believing about yourself and about Life in this moment? Practice being in this moment with good thoughts and good energy. I am physically exhausted, but mentally wired. I feel completely drained of energy, yet my mind is running a marathon of "what-ifs" and to-do lists that keep me from relaxing or sleeping.
