Vintage market

Review the link for this post of a recent sale on a first edition dark Charizard. I personally felt this entire year that the vintage market was getting no love even though I was buying pieces here and there myself but now it seems that the hype money is being pushed more and more into vintage. Is vintage here to stay or are we going to see a similar bubble like we have seen with modern this year?

Vintage doesn't appreciate as rapidly as a lot of new sets, but it is a lot more stable. Not much supply coming in either so pops will stay relatively where they are. I like to think of vintage as the S&P500 😅 slow, but sure

Thoughts on this trade?
Debating trading 4 of my Zard UPCs (new ones) for 4 Temporal Forces PC ETBs + $40. Leaning towards taking it as PC ETBs are some of the best holds and UPCs will be released for at least the next year. Thoughts?

@Bryant Jen Thanks Bryant! I agree I wish it was another set. The card list for TF does give me hope it's appreciated more in the future as there are some really nice IRs and SIRs! I would dare say it's a deeper set than PFL(?)

Victini Promo and Collection Box
What is everyone’s thoughts on the victini promo and illustration box? I’ve been slowly buying the boxes when I can at retail and picking up the promo if I find a good deal. I personally think in a year or so, this promo will have a similar trend to the Greninja/Kingdra promos.

Per recent history and at this pace...We could see another Kingdra/Greninja blow up, but those sat for awhile before going parabolic. The Victini is on a fairly moderate rise rn not "buyout" fast, but at a respectably gradual rate. Furthermore, there are no other Victini full arts like it...Hence why I see it as a good buy even at their current prices. P.S. I have been hearing that it is regarded as the "Smoke Break" Victini. Anything with a socially constructed nickname usually goes crazy at some point (i.e. Love birds, Fat-chu, Butt-H*** Pikachu, etc.)
