Hey all, not sure how many of you here are using SMS to land clients but i thought this might be super useful if you are as i know Clay had some killer lesosns on this & interviews!! so wanted to drop it here and not just in my community :) would love to hear if this matches your experience! we've basically been heads-down building out the best AI assistant we can for our agency lead flow as we're at a point in scale up where it's either this or hire.. Booking, nurturing, chasing people who go quiet etc Now, to do it properly so every response wasn't just complete word-salad slop.. we went back through every single conversation we've ever had with a contractor over the last few years and read the lot by hand. 161,312 messages....give or take a few we did all this so you don't have to, so we can spead up the learning curve, why do something new when you can copy what works, right? Every reply Every objection Every thread that died on us The point was to understand exactly what gets a response, gets a BOOKING, and what gets ignored, so the assistant sounds like a person instead of a marketer Turns out there's a lot in there Some of it made us wince....😂 A few that stood out: - Replying faster made no difference at all... - When someone asked the price and we gave a straight number, 39% booked. When we saved it for the call, 0% did... - When they picked their own time, 45% booked. When we offered slots, 14% - Someone texted us "yes set it up" and we got back to them 189 hours later... We've put all of it into an artefact you can scroll through, with the actual texts in it. typos and swearing left in as i need you all to be conditioned and prepared for this... what they say to us.. what killed the conversation, and what got a yes. go through it, use it, take whatever's useful & let me know your thoughts or own experience in the comments 👇👇👇 https://claude.ai/code/artifact/44b46041-8e96-4034-8caa-cf524bc0b4b6

@Thomas Hassett This is great man, okay the numbers are reasonable. It seems a handful are killing it with ads. Thought about them a few times but plan to stick to FB groups (gaining admin access or moderating for lead access) and other potential partnerships. As you mentioned for sms. gotta have a solid system for it and all other variables too. I'm sure it takes time to refine and all. Very valuable data, thank you!

@Thomas Hassett Yes, let's see how it goes. Excited as the conversations have gotten much better! Ok makes sense, for sure. No client acquisition strategy/channel is perfect. You guys have been running ads for a while now? You know what I don't, unless its in this groups? You recommend it? I have Balints from 'one call close' groups review snapshots. I've heard there's different kinds.
July Rev 31.5k - 13 Months Into Running Our Agency
I run a web design/development agency with a GHL offer added on top. (the one I got from here) July ended up being a pretty good month. It was hard to enjoy it because we we're busy doing fulfillment and onboarding. Been at this for about 13 months now and there have been periods of me thinking I might have made a mistake after leaving my good paying job. If your just starting out, keep pushing. 27k of that 31.5k was profits that I transferred out. I have zero outbound going right now, built some strategic partnerships with other agencies that bring us clients.

@Nick Liu I love the partnership angle, I owned a FB group prior and did some one off partnerships. I've been doing 1to1 outreach, not my favorite! I'd refined it and getting close to closing some. I started nurturing some FB group owners for potential partners. Did they require case studies, clients etc? You recommend taking it slow and build trust first then state the offer or pitch them out the gate? I'm testing some local suppliers first with our ideal clients, then will move onto agencies

@Nick Liu I love it, lead with value and just let them know why you're reaching out. I will certainly keep this in mind when approaching partners in the future. On average, how long would you say it took to get a partner on board from initial email to referrals?
First Client Payout
Ive been in here for a while, and it seemed like no matter how hard i tried nothing seemed to click.....Until it finally happened! First client payout of $200 USD. Nothing really that crazy, until it finally happened! Hoping similar wins for you all!

@Henry Clark I have been at it for a few months. Working on the sales, biz dev and networking side. I'm looking for an automations back end partner. Send me a DM if you're still on the search as well!
