Weekly Challenge Feedback + NEW Challenge
Hello friends, I've been a day late on the feedback and new challenge due to a running accident (also missed the live Q&A 😕) but we have the videos already online! So check them please. 🚨I'm NOT HAPPY with the feedback I had to give 🚨 Then, for the new challenge we have followed a community suggestion (thanks @Paul Bande 🙌) with a small twist from @Maria Vinagre It's gonna be fun. Please watch the video carefully and make a great work! PS The new challenge will be reviewed in 2 weeks as Maria and I are going to Tblisi to speak here https://gtwt.ge/lineup if anyone is attending let us know! And if you want to attend we can give disc codes

@Maria Vinagre In the netherlands we're used to the harsh treatment
Sales call deck vs onboarding deck
Would you recommend having two different decks ...one short deck for initial sales calls explaining how the workflow works, and a more detailed onboarding deck after the client signs? My thinking is that the first deck helps qualify whether the client is a good fit, while the second prevents expectation drift once the project starts. Have you found this kind of split useful, or is it better to keep things lighter and more conversational?

I have a brochure that is brief and to the point, then once the client lands I give them the invoice with all their specific details on the project. I have had no paying clients so far, I just started independently this week, but for me - who's expecting small clients - that's a shorter and quicker process. For bigger clients I can see that being different.

@Hugo Barbera that sounds good indeed. At work we also make everything feel more custom than it may actually be - it's really effective
Beauty Challenge
My submission. I particularly liked that we had to create another moodboard, because I notice I can definitely use some practice. Specifically, I find it hard to distinguish categories when there's overlap. I noticed that mostly with the setting and art direction in this case. My take on this result: I noticed the garnier Instagram page has this product advertised with mostly a very clean bright yellow look. However, I also noticed a lot of natural tones and images on the page, so I figured I'd combine the two approaches.

I looked a bit more closely at the garnier page and noticed that my previous attempt was made too hastily: it actually does not feel like garnier to me. The initial attempt is too bohemian and natural, unlike the crisp studio look of garnier. So I just tried it a second time. Text didn't render properly but the look is better imo.

@Brian Terry thanks Brian! Nice to hear your vision. The scale is indeed an issue. The moped should've been further away from the wall. I actually found it a bit tough to get proportions right with this idea - most outputs gave extremely large products. Prompt refinement would've solved this probably - but it was an interesting obstacle.
New Weekly Challenge ON
EDIT: you need to replicate, NOT reinterprete. You know the deal: 1- Under Classroom tab 2- Weekly Challenge module 3- Number 3 I always say "this is very important, bla bla bla" but to be honest, we focus on the important things to get paid as much as possible. And you cannot imagine how IMPORTANT this one is to be able to get +$50k projects And, I'm just asking you to replicate this:

My attempt. Text to image - I did not use any reference images, considered that references are not always allowed in production. The second image on this post is the visual description that I made to create the prompt. I used the Visual Prompt Assist GPT from this course to restructure and improve that description to create the image. Not all details match - a classic lantern instead of court lights (I apparently do not know the proper word for it) and the color grading and lighting on the subject (lighting on hair and no sheen on the glasses, for instance). I could go on of course. Nice challenge!
Weekly Challenge - Gucci
Hi all — I jumped on this weekly challenge yesterday, then realised I had to level up my interactions to take part and post here! I'm in! 😂 My direction is loosely inspired by Mediterranean modernism, surrealist architecture and the sculptural colour palettes of Ricardo Bofill and Luis Barragán. The two images explore the model in a sunlit terracotta space, wearing pastel tailoring featuring playful 90s shell-suit-inspired geometry, finished with some bespoke Gucci frames to match. I’ve been experimenting with a custom-trained LoRA lately, so I used it for this brief to see what kind of images I could create. The most challenging part was getting the Gucci pattern to stay consistent across the two shots, especially as I added this to the outfit after setting the poses. I look forward to any feedback and seeing anyone else take part.
