AI getting more expensive
Hello frens, as AI keeps getting better, it keeps getting more expensive as well. As you know, we use Magnific (formerly Freepik) and for example we have gone from an image generation for 75 credits on NB2 to 300 credits on GPT2. FOUR MORE TIMES PER IMAGE TO GET THE BEST GENERATOR. Same happens on video, being Seedance2 the MUST tool to use unless is forbidden by client. Sometimes spending around 10k credits per generation. Around $10 😅 So, as we are gonna be in possible partnerships with other tools like Invideo or Artlist, I'm putting together a spreadsheet with the cost mostly for Seedance2 gen. Im using the 800€ tier because that is the max extra top up you can do on Magnific (we used 1M credits last week..) and that could be pretty common in high paid video projects. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zFia-4Y7ZrMOfT4UCjLPbsfZA_2esjXHnTtf5GTvJQM/edit?usp=sharing If you have any insights to fill please be welcome! Hope this helps

@Paul Bande not recently.. but if any have insights about the costs could be good to share for everyone. I'm using as reference Seedance because it's so expensive 😂
Spec ad mistake?
I just found this interesting spec ad for Prada, but can you find the mistake? Blink and you might miss it! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DY_GZdKFpKG/?igsh=MWhncjUyd3Rta3p3Yg==

@Paul Bande @Brian Terry was difficult to spot it! Anyways, a spec won't ever be perfect as probably you are not doing the ALWAYS required post production
Quick questions...
Hi @Hugo Barbera - I have a few questions about the next challenge... Should the 3 final images feel like they belong to the same editorial story/publication, with a shared look and feel? Or can they be treated as 3 separate fashion images for 3 different publications around the World Cup theme? For example Dazed photography looks very different to Arena Homme+. Also, when you say “related to the World Cup”, do you mean literally ...football kits, stadiums, flags, match context ...or can it be more interpretive, like fan culture, national identity, atmosphere or after the game emotion? And for the brands... should the garments feature recognisable logos / specific brand pieces, or is it enough that each image clearly draws from the styling language of different brands? Many thanks!

@Vera Proharava i wrote one story only. This is not a commercial for a fashion brand. It's a fashion editorial. Best way to know how a fashion editorial should be, is looking for a real fashion editorial on a magazine. Imagine a client will give you a briefing, but not explain how a TVC should be for example. But review the video, it's not what you are saying.

@Vera Proharava on a fashion editorial, brands can be mixed up or not. Some luxury brands dont want to be mixed sometimes, other they are ok. It cannot be just one brand. You can put more than 3 if you want overall on the 3 images.

@Deanna Leonard before @Maria Vinagre steps in.. a fashion editorial cannot be just one look. If it's 3 images, we need coherence but not 3 times the same look :) some inspo https://mariavinagre.webflow.io/
The Fashion Translation Lab
@Hugo Barbera and @Maria Vinagre - wanted to share this given the challenge this week. It's a fun little guide I just built for the EVP of Fashion at Walmart. And no, Walmart is no where near luxury - but Denise is former Saks and PRL, so I wanted to give her a one-stop place to look at 'signals.' I thought you and the group might find in fun as we dive into this week's World Cup luxury brand challenge. (and yes, you can give me hell if you want to critique it!) this is a pretty amazing tool @Deanna Leonard after "playing" with it a bit I can see the value to someone with the right skills and needs. Great work! seriously
