Tucker's Afternoon Out
Today we ran some energy off at the park, met a new bestie Boo, practiced recall. Boo's Dad wished Boo would recall that well. 👏 Ater a bit of unleashed walking at my side, we left the park and went to Cabela's. Tucker was a such a good boy! First with the greeter, who asked before approaching, and didn't try to touch when I asked her not to, yay! Walking through the store was perfect. He sat when I stopped but we are going to have to touch up on the auto down. A fella at the till complimented him on being a good boy.. I had to agree, and thanked him for noticing 😁. And then it was puppacino time to celebrate a very successful afternoon! 🍵
Tucker - playtime, recall, walking without leash and place
Hi All, It has been a little while since I posted, mostly because I had no decent pics or video to show how well Tucker is doing. I have a couple of pics from this weekend and last weekend now to share. So the first pic is Tucker and his little older brother Harley. This is place. Tucker was put on place first, and then Harley. I wanted to see if Tucker would stay if Harley was placed as well and lo and behold! It happened! 😁they were such good boys! We also practiced dropping the leash for Tucker to walk alongside me. He did great! The pics from last weekend are Tucker and his lady friend Lexi in the dog park enclosure. They love each other to pieces! I was trying to get them to sit and look at the camera for the pic, but they were more interested in kisses lol. After this, we went out into the larger dog park area and let them run. I am happy to report that Tucker's recall is amazing now! He came back every single time, with only minor correction needed.

Mochi and Matcha 1 month update
Hello everyone!! It’s officially been 1 month since Mochi and Matcha graduated from Arsenal! They have been continuing to improve so much! Today, we hit a big milestone (in my opinion), we took Mochi and Matcha down town to Princess Island Park! We’ve been walking them around more crowded areas and near by parks lately, and I was at the park in the afternoon a few days ago and saw that is wasn't too busy during the evening hours so decided to take them this evening and oh boy… I was unaware Filipino Fest was happening! So the park was much busier then I expected. But nonetheless we started slow in a less busier area of the park and slowly progressing towards the busier areas. This was their third time at the park. We had taken them once the first year we got them, and again a few months after that. They pulled so bad n barked at everything we never ended up going back because it was just too stressful for everyone involved. However they were SO good today. We definitely had some moments where they would pull a little bit and require some correction, but other than that there was no barking, growling, or lunging at anything. We walked past so many people, dogs, cyclists, and other animals. We even let them take a little dip in the river and also watched some salsa dancing as well. We were confident enough to let them say hi to some dogs and people. Mochi was a little more timid not necessarily wanting to be pet by people, but thats okay, he only showed his discomfort by moving away. Matcha was a little shy at first but quickly warmed up to getting some love from people. We even went into Filo Fest! We were just in the outer areas where it wasn’t absolutely packed. I don’t think we are ready for that type of crowd yet, but we were around a lot of people so I’m really happy with their progress and confidence. We even got to work on a few places and got some cute pictures too! Just wanted to share! More updates to come!
