Nov 19 class
Jess, I wanted to thank you both for a fantastic class last night. Loved the small class and the new things we learned. Lots to practice!! Freyr did so well and , as you said, was much calmer and relaxed than he has been in class before.

So proud to see how far yall have come! Very blessed to be apart of the journey!!!! ❤️
Consistency Really Works!!!
Just took the dogs for a stroll. Walked by another dog who was growling at us. Maggie pulled slightly but neither of them barked or lunged!! So so grateful for the incredible training and encouragement!!

Roller coaster..
https://youtube.com/shorts/ybsa6otwu7g?si=Cfoa8IzlnR8T4ea5 This was yesterday.Thought she was going to ace it on the first try! But, just a stretch. After this she had a couple good ones. Then when I thought I was going to be recording our victory video she had really rough one, really waited it out. We pushed through and switched it up to speed free and downs. This morning I was so proud of her, she was doing much better - of course I didn’t catch any of those ones! She got a little stuck when we got to our driveway and Dan was there and a neighbour was shovelling- but she got there!

Keep working at it. Remember to have the expectation that she can and has done it flawlessly on and off leash. She is really pushing her boundaries, keep working on it!
The rough one (yesterday)
https://youtu.be/BGzqir_7ucU?si=gsH2U5qGwftXYYCK In the end I used leash pressure. Was there anything I should have done differently in this scenario? Though I’m feeling pretty happy with Willow’s progress this morning, I know this could happen again, want to make sure we respond in the best way we can.

Don't give her so long to mess around. Give a half a second then follow through with your stim and then leash pressure. She has to know you mean it. Once she goes down make sure to give her that big FREE!!!!! Then practice it in reps until she does a good one!
