Thrive Live- in 13 hours! Learn with Charles about Durable Strength and Energy!
https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82654041042?pwd=b9PHMcwfyAVIxLzBJHat13bcTqMq1C.1 Do you know anyone who’s on GLp-1 drugs, or maybe considering it? Perhaps it’s a friend or family member? If so, invite them to this talk! Just copy and paste the description below :) Charles has the most mindful and effective approach to using weight loss drugs that I’ve ever come across. He’s learned how to use them as a tool for his transformation without being overly reliant on them. His insights are valuable to anyone using GLp-1 drugs, and also to anyone who’s committed to living a life of strength, energy, and vitality. You can use your Thrive Affiliate Link to replace the link in the description. ——————————————————- Whether you’re curious about GLP-1 therapy, aiming for sustainable weight loss, or seeking durable STRENGTH, ENERGY, and RESILIENCE, this Masterclass is for you! Insights from a GLP-1 Experience Masterclass: Reinforcing Metabolic Infrastructure for Longevity Thursday, March 5, 10 am MT/11am CST Join the Thrive Community for the link to join live, access to the replay, and ongoing support with your health and wellness goals, https://www.skool.com/releasetheweight/about?ref=59d0a935b5884ffaa928a55d73dcf8aa Charles Fielder began GLP-1 therapy with pragmatic goals: to lose weight and better manage his diabetes in support of long-term health. The effects were immediate, both in appetite and on the scale. In this masterclass, Charles will share the systems perspective emerging from his experience, and the insights he gained along the way that reinforce metabolic infrastructure. We’ll explore how common weight-loss approaches can either support or undermine long-term vitality, depending on how they’re implemented. It took Charles more than a year to recognize that a weekly injection alone would not build, and might even erode, the metabolic resilience necessary to sustain the weight loss and support the enduring vitality he sought.

My wife is using Ozempic and has asked her Dr to get her off them. He said he can wean her off them. She has been vomiting a lot.
The KEY ingredient to deep healing and transformation?
When I was studying Contemplative Psychology, I wrote many, many papers. Hundreds probably. But one of them, I remember to this day. I studied a lot of different therapeutic modalities...psychoanalysis, Jungian dream analysis, Gestalt Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and more. I was curious about what made therapy effective or not. This paper that I remember delved into this topic...what is the most effective kind of therapy for healing and transformation? I learned that any therapy can be quite effective for healing and transformation, as long as the therapist provides this one ingredient. What is this ingredient, you might be wondering? It's called Unconditional Positive Regard. It means the therapist holds a space full of empathy, compassion, and a loving regard towards their client, no matter what stories they hear, or what kind of guilt and shame the client might be holding. The beauty of Unconditional Positive Regard is that we are able to give it to ourselves as well! We don't need to wait for a therapist or friend or family member to hold that space for us, although it's wonderful to have a person like that in our lives. We can also give ourselves Unconditional Positive Regard. Like most other things, the more we practice Unconditional Positive Regard, the better we get at it! I've seen a few people move through this group and within weeks start a journey of transformation and joyful release of stubborn weight with the slightest nudge...a one-on-one meeting, attending a few group support meetings, doing Hypno Health, reading my book. There are two things these folks had in common, as I reflect on this dynamic... 1.) A readiness for change and transformation, a feeling of commitment for doing whatever it takes to create change, as long as it felt right and good to them. 2.) A strong, internal sense of self-love and compassion for what they've been through and where they wanted to go, in other words... Unconditional Positive Regard for themselves!

@Jon Simmons Yes Jon. Along same lines is I believe we are the sum total of every experience we had. Everything is for us, not against us. We are divine beings living a human experience. All is needed to get us to the next place in our growth as a soul.

Confess Your Culinary Kryptonite: What Food Habit Feels Impossible to Change?
What if your resistance to changing your food isn't a character flaw - it's actually information? That thing you find yourself defending ("I could never give up _____") or that change that feels impossible ("I don't have time to _____") - those aren't obstacles. They're signposts showing you exactly where you have the most available to discover about yourself. Your resistance is trying to protect something. Maybe it's comfort, maybe it's identity, maybe it's connection with people you love, maybe it's a way of soothing stress that you haven't found an alternative for yet. When you get curious about your resistance instead of fighting it or judging it, everything shifts. 🧐 What food or eating pattern do you find yourself most resistant to examining or changing? 🪑 And if you sit with it for a moment - what do you think it's protecting?

What to cling to was drummed into by my parents. Such phrases as you’ll not get any sweets you if you don’t finish you main course. I have problems with portion control and I never leave food on my plate.

@Marama Elizabeth Yes and I often go for second helpings after the first serve. I have some success using smaller containers when I freeze food. Chewing for longer has also helped that way I also chew every morsel and swallow before tackling the next. At same time being aware of my satiety levels makes a difference.
What if the world around you was conspiring for your GOOD?
Last night, at Meditations to Thrive, we talked about the idea of Pronoia...the opposite of paranoia. Paranoia is the idea that things are scary and out to get us in some way. Pronoia, on the other hand, is the idea that events around us are conspiring in our favor... It's linked to the idea of a "silver lining to every cloud" as brought up by @Elena Toneva , or "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger", as brought up by @Alex McMillan . It was lovely connecting with @Kavitha K , @A. N. , @Carin Chantel , @Elena Toneva , and @Alex McMillan about this topic and others, and laughing, and brainstorming how events around us might actually be working for our benefit. Found this fun article on the topic, https://bayareacbtcenter.com/understanding-pronoia-and-its-impact-on-happiness/ Can you think of a way that events in your life might be conspiring to do you well, even if it doesn't feel like it sometimes, fellow Thriver? My motto is everything is for us. We are Divine Beings having a Human Experience. We are here learn for from every experience to allow us to proceed on our journey back to wholeness and oneness. Each experience is part of the journey we agreed to when we entered the density of this plain of existence. Surrender to the unknown and all things will soon be known.
