Using WeWeb Is it possible to combine two different databases in a simple way?
Experienced people, let me know if this idea I have to solve my problem is correct. I want to use Xano as a database to build and experiment with different projects before going live. I feel comfortable with Xano, but I don't want to pay yet until Iโ€™m sure, but my project needs to host images. So I thought I could use Xano to host all the information and just use Airtable (or maybe Uploadcare) to host all the images for free. To do this, I would need to combine the two databases so that when I perform any CRUD operations, they are read and combined on the frontend, or when I upload or modify some information, it happens simultaneously in both databases. Iโ€™m thinking that writing and updating could be done in separate forms without problems. However, both databases would need to be combined by a common field, such as the user ID. Do you think this is the right approach to solve my problem? Is there any better solution you can think of to avoid payments while in experimental mode?

Thank you, Daniel, I hadnโ€™t thought of that. I could pull the images from Airtable using a common ID between the two databases. My challenge will be finding a way to get the new userโ€™s ID from XANO and then use it to populate a field in Airtable
Toddle.dev
Hello Guys. In the last few weeks, I've been doing a tutorial on Toddle.dev. They seem to be an alternative to Wized, much more visual and, in my opinion, much easier for those of us who are NoCode, understand some Javascript, but struggle with building structures or flow diagrams. Honestly, I find it very powerful and far superior to Wized in many aspects. Has anyone else tried it? Could you share your opinions in comparison with other No Code WebApp Builders?https://toddle.dev/

Thanks for this info. I'll dive into WeWeb then (too many tools!)

@Daniel Migizi It's incredible how common this problem must be that they created a video to try to address it. The reality is just that: in the race for apps to solve these problems, more and more new tools are appearing on the market, each better than the last, and you feel like you never get to learn any of them in depth and don't know when to stop searching and trying to deepen your knowledge of one. Technology is advancing much faster than developers' ability to learn these tools. It was very different a few years ago when the tools stayed the same for years.
I launched my agency site on WeWeb today ๐Ÿš€
I have more improvements to make, but I wanted to get something out there for my business and then iterate on it daily. I shipped it and received user feedback that there was no messaging on form submission. So, I went in and set it up so that now when you click submit, the form gets disabled while data is sent to Xano. It then re-enables the form button after data response from Xano, and then displays a success message. I set up two variables in my workflow to make it work: displaySuccessMessage and isFormDisabled, and I change their default values once the form is submitted. Here is a link to my site and attached is a demo showing how I set it up.

Could you tell me what the advantages of WeWeb over Webflow are? I'm a Webflow developer with 3 years of experience, and I see there's a lot of work available, but I notice that more and more people are asking for WeWeb. What would be the advantage over Webflow?

@Daniel Migizi Thank You! The only problem I've found working with another backend (Xano) is that you have to pay if you want to upload an image. I love Xano, but is too expensive when you just doing experiments or launch a webapp to check if the market accept it. And what do you think about Bubble? Is it worth learning, or would you go straight to learning WeWeb?

Hola Alejo, aqui de Argentina. Coincido que a veces es mejor charlar en Espaรฑol. Que les parece armar una subcomunidad para discutir temas No Code en Espaรฑol?
What's your favorite Low-Code tool?
We are tech-agnostic here - my view is that the best tool for the job depends on the job. With that being said, what tool do you find yourself using the most? This could include Zapier, N8N, and more! Which of the following tools do you use most frequently in your work?
