Updates to Skool
Thank you to those sticking through the changes and what not. This community and the idea behind it are shifting to focus strictly on the 22 Leadership Codes. This is going to turn into a book and a place to be a discussion factor around the codes and real-life situations we are running into. Never will everything be learned from one person, we learn from each other collectively. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for those that are sticking around and if you ever find that this is not the place for you anymore, I totally understand. In the meantime. for those new members, WELCOME and I hope you enjoy your stay. You will find I am super responsive @Allan Webster knows, even though I have been quite lately but I am still here just been working on my book. BTW... the book is going to be close to 50k words and I am about 35k in.

I’ve been in the leadership development business my entire career. I’ve been to 10000s of courses and read hundreds of books on the topic. But this word “codes” intrigues me. I don’t know of anybody else using that approach. I think you’re onto something important.
What matters more in a team culture… trust or accountability?
I’ll go first. Accountability builds trust… but without trust, accountability feels like pressure. Curious how others see it.

Where do leaders lose trust the fastest? Saying one thing and doing another. People can forgive mistakes but not a lack of integrity.

@Russell Cross III Loss of integrity. They say one thing and do another.
What’s one thing you do consistently that strengthens your team’s culture?
I’ll start. I stay disgustingly optimistic and try to remain animated. It is just authentically me which is something I’ve always brought to the table.

I take the position that it's always more important to figure out what works instead of who's right.
Before we get kicked off - What are you doing this weekend?
Share below. Let’s lead people into a positive weekend by sharing what we are doing. I’m joining @Mark Eldridge in a luncheon with a past Skool game winner for lunch tomorrow to learn more to bring it back to you all here!

We'll be going to church on Easter as it is one of the most important days of the year for us ... and then invited several people over after church to serve a multi-course dinner, play some games, and have great conversations.
Welcome Dr. Alan!
@Dr. Alan Zimmerman Thanks for joining us and glad you found us through @June Gilbert Collins through the affiliate program! Super awesome and can't wait to see what you bring to the community as well. Please share a bit about yourself and earn some quick levels by going through the classroom. Let's give him a big Leadership Lab WELCOME!
