11 contributions to AI Automation Society
We’re great at building AI systems. We’re terrible at marketing.
Hey everyone, I’m Akilesh. As some of you know already, I did my undergrad in AI and Data Science long before the ChatGPT boom, had to figure out everything the hard way, but have gained solid experience before moving to the UK. Back in India, I did a lot of freelance AI projects and built a network of AI engineers who actually hold degrees in AI and are currently working in corporate tech. We have the technical firepower to build just about anything. Because the dev team is based in India and we operate with zero agency overhead, we can build basic to advanced systems at highly competitive, startup-friendly rates. But I’ll be completely honest—we are builders, not marketers, and finding the right clients has been our biggest bottleneck. Most clients we have are just from referrals based in India, who don't pay that much. We’re currently open to taking on new projects of any scope, from basic integrations to advanced custom models. Most of our past work is for clients, but I have a decent portfolio I can share privately. If you’re looking for a highly technical team to partner with or work on a commission basis, feel free to DM me!
AI dev transitioning to agency owner — need some advice
Hey everyone! Excited to be part of this community. A little background on me: I actually did my undergrad in AI back before ChatGPT was released. Over the last few years, I’ve been building AI projects for other people. I was getting underpaid for the dev work as a freelancer who got clients just by word of mouth in my country. But seeing people making more moeny by just selling AI automations made the think. why not just start my own agency ? I have the technical skills and the right contacts to build pretty much anything in the AI space. Fulfilling the service is completely covered. I am going to run an genraistic agency, building custom AI infrastructres for businesses. My big problem right now? Landing the actual clients. 😅 Like most people starting out, I went down the YouTube rabbit hole trying to figure out client acquisition, and my current plan is to set up automated cold email campaigns. I am also lloking to partner up or work on a comission basis with someone from this space. I'd love to ask the folks here who are already doing it: 1. Outreach: Are automated email campaigns still relevant or is there a different outreach strategy working better for new agencies? 2.Getting Off Zero: If you were in my shoes right now—starting at zero clients again—what would be your exact play to sign the first one or two paying clients?

@Daniel Chua Great idea but with Fiverr or upwork , once we do a work with client for a low qulaity, it is very hard to make them a high ticket client
AI won’t replace you… but someone using automation might.
Right now, most people are still using AI just for prompts or quick answers. But the real advantage comes when you start automating tasks and building systems that work for you. The people who learn this early will save hours of work, move faster, and scale what they do. That’s why communities like AI Automation Society are so valuable, people here aren’t just talking about AI, they’re learning how to use it to create leverage. Curious, what’s one task you’d love to automate right now?

@Emily Jones To put it simply, currently I have a agentic system , some bosses, some workers and boss of bosses. I am trying to make bosses powerful that they know which worker will be btter, and instructing workers which workets to get help from acccording to the work in hand. The system its gonna handle is guiding clients navigate the user discorvery phase to get a clear picture before onbaording them

@Emily Jones Sure , shoot me a DM
Alex Hormozi's execution principle is crazy.
So i was watching Alex's podcast on Diary of CEO and actually saw him talking about 15 min productivity rule in his couple of workshops too and it actually got me crazy when this shit really worked . He talks abt dividing your time slot in 15 min and write down every single time what you did in the last 15-min and guarantees to increases your producitvity for abt 10 times . But you dont want to pickup a fucking pen and paper everytime to write down some shit so i simple built Ascend the whole transparency about your time . I wish i could share this thing here but it dont allow me to send me DM if you have the same hunger to grow

Things like this never worked for me. It is always about how bad I wanted it. It impacted my productivity

Human body is a very interesting machine , when there is a true drive or a pressure , your brain goes into flow state releasing hormones, Norepinephrine and Endorphins essentialy taking you to a deep flow state. In deep flow, activity in the Prefrontal Cortex—specifically the area responsible for self-monitoring—actually slows down. This is called transient hypofrontality. Your perception of time becomes distorted because the brain is dedicating all its resources to the task at hand rather than "tracking" the passing hours. Intereting area of neuroscience to dig deeper
