I do reviews, Lief stuff and automotive content on mine. But I really don't concentrate on YT that much. I just do it for fun. Never try to be perfect on there.

The only 2 things that make click away from a video, is bad audio and not getting to the point. 4-5 minutes in and they still haven't reached the point of what the video is about.I am guilty of the 2nd one sometimes. But I don't do it constantly. This is why I have switched to just making videos with out me in them here lately.

You mentioned other sites to put different things yet be yourself. I may have misunderstood it. But in the end, there are client out there for you and if others don't like your brand. There is one for them. Me personally I prefer my website over social media. One it will be gone and I still own my domain name and site. Not so much on social media.
