Soctober project complete
I just completed my Socktober 2025 socks: Lyon Memories (cropped to trainer socks length so that I get more use from them). The cables and twists were so much fun, and I love the heel style. I thought the colours would hide the texture but they haven't, and the colours remind me of autumn leaves 🍂

@Kelly Archer thank you! I love making socks but often regret knitting them any higher than below my ankle bone because I get hyper-aware of how they feel. Weird! Thankfully this pattern looks just as lovely short 💚💛🧡

I've got the twisties!
My first Lyon Memories socks is coming along, enjoying how the gusset is working out. I must be twisting my yarn overs, however, because there are no holes and I've realised that there should be! Showing my lack of lacework knowledge. I may end up making these twice over 🙃
