Hello my lovely MYAL knitters 🧶 I need to share a change of plan with you, and I want to be honest about why. It has been a difficult few days for me and I have been quite affected. Those of you who follow me on Instagram will very likely now what I am referring to. Right now, I am not in the right place to host a live celebration the way I planned. And I do not want that to take away from what this event was meant to be: a celebration of YOU and all the work you have done. For many of you, this was your first all-over colourwork sweater, your first steek, your first time trying something out of your comfort zone. And that deserves to be celebrated properly, not under a dark cloud. So here is what I would love you to do instead. Here it is! All done. It took me two weeks to get the sleeves and finish (a little travel and a new puppy decreased my knitting time) but I’m so happy my pullover sweater is done! Tonight I am soaking it and will get it blocked. I’ll post one more photo when it’s dry in a few days so you can see how it fits. I decided on a short sleeve because let’s face it Southern California isn’t all that cold in the winter and maybe I’ll get more wear out of it this way. Though I will say it’s pretty heavy with all the color work so it’s going to be warm even with short sleeves. 😊 this mystery knit along has been a lot of fun. I’ve learned a lot and really appreciate @Zanete Hussain . Looking forward to the next project.

Almost finished, just the blocking, weaving in of ends and ribbon to attach. This is my second steek BUT first successful one. I am inspired to go retrieve my other steek project out of the quarantine pile and finish it. I loved the classroom tips that Zanete shared. Very helpful.

Tonight I had the great pleasure of seeing a few Rujuus in real life at a knit night in London, UK! What a wonderful feeling, thank you for coming and bringing this WIP to this fantastic social get-together ❤️
