### Ledger Line
Excited to share a project I built in class: **Ledger Line** — a genealogy research tool designed for Black American families. Tracing family history often hits a wall at the pre-1870 record gap. Ledger Line helps users organize their research and preserve the family stories that go beyond what history officially recorded. Built in vanilla HTML/CSS/JavaScript and live now: https://repogirl888-green.github.io/ledger-line/ Would love for you to try it and share feedback!

Cool! Let me if this tool helps out your research.
### Cue Sheet
Sharing another app from my workshop: **Cue Sheet** — an IP rights registration tracker for independent creatives. Musicians, filmmakers, and writers can catalog their works and get automatic alerts for registration gaps across ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, the Copyright Office, and WGA. Built to help creators protect what they make. Live here: https://repogirl888-green.github.io/cue-sheet/ Try it out — feedback is always welcome!

SUMMER SKOOL - feat HITSUYO AKU & Special Guests -CLASS 9 (replay)
This was a summer school-style community session hosted by Red Pillar, featuring Hitsuyo Aku and other participants including Rob/Mahal 2 and Mys Lekeisha. The stated purpose was to discuss open-weights AI developments such as Kimi 3 and to show practical workflows for building with local tools, Obsidian, GitHub, and agentic vault systems. Key Challenges: - Solutions discussed in greater depth than challenges on this call. - Pay-per-use frontier AI pricing is seen as unsustainable. Architect.hitsuyoaku.io argued the model “won't work” because providers cannot afford to keep subsidizing usage and users do not want rising per-token costs. - AI costs are becoming impractical for businesses. Architect.hitsuyoaku.io cited enterprise Anthropic invoices reaching six figures and criticized overusing expensive models for simple tasks. - Non-technical founders are intimidated by GitHub and worry they will “mess it up,” lose work, or not know how to recover if something breaks. Architect.hitsuyoaku.io and Mys Lekeisha both referenced this hesitation. - Many builders have scattered files and weak operating systems for their work. Architect.hitsuyoaku.io described people’s information being spread across email, Drive, and other tools with “no order, no structure.” - Current AI growth is constrained by infrastructure and energy. Architect.hitsuyoaku.io said broader AI adoption lacks a solid energy plan and that scaling current approaches could be physically unsustainable.

Y'all saw PolyPulse in the Class 9 screenshots — here's the link if you want to run it yourselves during the World Cup final today 🏆 https://repogirl888-green.github.io/polypulse/ — tap 'Add to Home Screen' on your phone and it installs like a real app (PWA magic, all vanilla JS). Honest feedback welcome — what's confusing, what's missing, what would you add? And the big news is still cooking. 👀
