I have watched completely my first mini course vedio which is The Basics of truck dispatcing. In this vedio I learned🙂; 1. Who are carrier, dispatcher, broker and shipper. 2. Connection between Carriers and dispatcher. 3. Competition between dispatcher and Broker. 4. How becoming a dispatcher is beneficial rather than a broker. Hopefully everybody is doing well. Has anyone watched it's complete mini course ??

I’ve been in the community for a few days now and just leveled up, so thought I should finally put up my intro properly. Right now I’m learning dispatching and trying to understand how broker relationships actually work. My FSC is done, Pre-Engineering, so I’m still figuring out the business side step by step. Outside of this, I spend most of my time with family and I’m into sports and cooking when I get some free time. Looking forward to learning from you all here 🤠.

I live in Houston and I plan on making $5k-$10k per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: 1.  How to start dispatching. 👩🏾‍💻📱🚛 2.  Where to find truck drivers to dispatch for. 👀 3. How to make this a full time career. 💰 For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1.  Binge watch tv shows. 📺 2.  Cook meals I’ve learned from reels & TikToks. 👩🏾‍🍳 3.  Coloring. 🖍️

Update: I collected my first carrier today. A friend that owns a box truck company with three trucks. Some context: I had to cancel my subscription to the paid portion of Dispatcher University, not because the system does not work but because I can not afford it at the moment. To those that don't know, I was taken advantage of in late 2025 as a lease on owner operator. It left my business near bankruptcy. I transitioned into dispatch because of it. I'm grateful to God I was able to use my contacts in the industry to scale the biggest hurdle to dispatchers, finding carriers. Otherwise I would have to spend lots of money in advertising to let carriers know my company exists. Then afterwards I would have to convince them to work with me. My industry connections helped me bypass that expense and roadblock. Grateful to @Gurpreet Gill for his teaching and expertise that gave me knowledge and tools to help my friends run their businesses more efficiently. I'm encouraged and excited about the future. Once my company returns to the black, I'll return with an update. Thanks to everyone I've met in this community and to all the encouraging words and advice. I can't wait to come back with more good news.
