Need advice, Lovable app deployed on VPS but updates arenβt syncing
Hey everyone, I could really use some guidance from people who have been through this. I built my app fully on Lovable cloud and it is now complete and deployed on a VPS. The issue is that my VPS version is no longer receiving updates from Lovable, so any changes I make donβt propagate to production. The person helping me with the VPS setup is suggesting that I move the project to Cursor to continue future development, since the app was originally created on Lovable cloud and not set up with Supabase from the start. Before I make a big move, I wanted to ask the community: β’ Is there a proper way to keep a Lovable app in sync once itβs deployed on a VPS? β’ Has anyone successfully continued development on a VPS without switching tools? β’ Is moving to Cursor the right long term approach, or am I missing a simpler workflow? Any advice, experiences, or pointers would be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance π

@Eliya Elmakis, thank you so much for your unwavering support. Your feedback has reignited my hope and enthusiasm. While I may not be a big fan of cursors myself, I donβt have any issues with traditional coding. However, I must admit that I find the Lovable awesome. Iβve spent a considerable amount of time on it, and Iβve become accustomed to its features. Itβs like comparing an iPhone and Android user experience, haha. I will check again and keep you posted. Thanks again for your input.

Did my ChatGPT Year Review and this is right on par for how my year went. I spent a LOT of time with AI this year and itβs got me really curious about what this year will bring for meβ¦ especially in this new era of vibe coding and wanting to get an app published to the App Store this year. @Josh Ballard This is exactly what I'm doing with Techspresso AI! I've got the Stripe integration live for monthly subscription + lifetime access tiers for my courses. Even seeing just my own name on that Stripe transaction was such a dopamine hit lol π like finally, this is REAL. The checkout flow is clean, the course access updates instantly, and knowing I can now actually monetize what I've been building makes all the Lovable iterations feel worth it. How are you planning to structure the pricing model? Monthly + lifetime like I did, or testing something different with your beta group?
