How we blew up our coaching & events biz
You might not know this, but I run Clients On Automation with my business partner @Dave Mutter . Dave and I have known each other since we were born. He lived on the street next to mine... And what we figured out early on in life is that the power of 2 brains is better than 1. Because your brain can only filter a very specific amount of information at one time. And this causes Blind Spots to appear. You see, the mind lives in delusion. Our egos convince us that we know it all in most areas of our life. Then we get smashed by a car in our "Blind Spot" as we drive down the road. Because we uncover a problem that we didn't see as we move forward. Which is why we ALL have "Blind Spots" when it comes to growing our coaching businesses. So when Dave and I learnt about the concept of blind spots within the brain? It changed everything. For example: We grew our consultancy business so fast because every pitch we would do... we would give each other feedback and refine it over and over again. Each time we did it got better and better. This is the journey of life as you become more successful: You keep uncovering bigger problems, resolve them, and then move forward. Likewise... When it came to launching our events, I sucked at making pitches to begin with. But I had Dave giving me feedback on the pitch and within months it was so fine-tuned... We became one of the largest UK providers of personal development events. Point being… Finding our Blind Spots has never failed to deliver massive breakthroughs for our business. @Ed JC Smith Registered. Thank you for this opportunity! I'm almost done setting up the COA funnel and need to test it. There are additional videos that I need to watch as well within COA. Below are the questions I have: - As a new coach without a client base, how does one address the question if someone asks, 'How long have you been a coach and how many clients do you have'? - When will the checkout cart be available for coaches to use so that the client can input their credit card information? - Can we be alerted when the client downloads the HVG PDF? - Can we set up email reminders in the COA platform to remind clients they have a scheduled session? This would apply to both the initial sales session and the consecutive sessions once they purchase the coaching program. - Can you share tips on how to avoid being ghosted for the sales call? - What is the FB target audience range now? In the COA training videos, the target audience should be between $500,000 and $1MM. Is that still the case today? - How long should the HGV run before making tweaks if one is not generating enough leads? - Do you recommend using a teleprompter when selling your coaching session? - When will we be able to add GIFs or images to our email signature in COA? - Let's say I start the coaching business with 12 coaching sessions and charge between $1,500 and $3,000. Is this the target range in today's market? At what point, do you increase the price? - What differences should I consider when selling group coaching programs versus one-on-one services? - How do I encourage clients to provide testimonials, especially if they’re hesitant? - What’s the best way to address situations where clients don’t take responsibility for their lack of progress?
