Identity Anchoring Is What Is Missing From Your Content
This is something I absolutely hated for a long time; I thought it was super cringy until I tried it myself and saw that it works. It’s Identity Anchoring. While recording a video, it’s basically saying something about yourself or your community that gives you authority or proof. It usually comes right after the hook. I’ve seen it used in shorts and longs. Once you notice this, you won’t be able to unsee it...sorry, lol. Here is an example from Evelyn Weiss. She said: (HOOK) "If you’re wondering what exactly Skool is and how it works, then you have found the right video." Then (Identity Anchor): "Hi there, my name is Evelyn Weiss. I run multiple Skool communities. My biggest one is doing $50,000 a month. I’m a big Skool affiliate. I’m also invested in Skool, and I also run the ads for Skool." This helps the person watching the video immediately trust her by providing proof. (It works even better if you can show, not tell.) So, take the extra five seconds to tell the audience who you are so they are more likely to connect with you...even if it is a little cringe. Also there are multiple different angles you can go with your identity anchor as well. I can give further examples if anyone is interested; just let me know!

Yeah I noticed that too. Hormozi also does this in his hooks (Hi, I'm Hormozi, founder of Acquistion.com, we did $3.7M book launch...), not only he uses this in his video, but he also has a whole framework which he teaches which he calls PPP (promise, proof - identity anchoring, plan) for creating videos
How My Worst Fear Became My Favorite Hobby
Happy Sunday! I just wanted to make a quick video talking about how making content, jumping on live calls and doing podcasts actually HELPED my social anxiety. Exposure therapy I guess? 😆 Hope yall have a good rest of your weekend!

HOW are you getting traffic with Skool?
I see a big percentage of us here are using Skool as our main Traffic source. How are you going about it exactly? DMS, other Skools? What is your exact strategy?

Common Content Creation Roadblocks
When you're first starting to drive traffic to your Skool, it’s easy to feel like you’re staring at a brick wall. Most people quit before they ever see a single member join because they get stuck in the "Content Roadblock" phase... but usually, those blocks are just excuses our brains make because we’re afraid of failing. Here are the big ones I see (and have felt myself) and how to punch through them: 1. "I don't know WHAT to post." This is what I do: think about what your "Content Pillars" (sub-niches) are so you always have a bucket to grab an idea from. Create at least five content pillars and then break those down even further. Check out the further explanation to that HERE. Once you find something that works, don't reinvent the wheel... remake that video again and again until it stops working. You also need to make time for ideation. Instead of mindlessly scrolling, curate your "For You Page" on whatever platform you want to post on. Scroll and only like and engage with videos in your niche. Eventually, every video on your FYP will be something you can get inspiration from. If I see a video that catches my attention, I write down the hook or the video idea in my notes app. And WHY I think it got my attention. NEVER straight-up copy someone else’s video, but it is totally fine to get inspiration from other creators. Once you have your content pillars, you can mix and match hooks and formats from other people's videos with your own topics. 2. "I don't know WHERE to post." This part is tough. Should you be on YouTube? TikTok? Pinterest? The answer is... where do you actually hang out? If you enjoy a platform, you already understand its "culture." And what type of videos work there. If you’re a YouTube person, do YouTube. If you like raw, unfiltered TikToks, do that. The best platform is the one you won't dread logging into every day. And if you enjoy being there, most likey your people are there too.
