Headsup (to the Lord!): Corpus Christi (Corpo de Deus), public holiday next week
This coming Thursday, June 4th, Portugal celebrates one of its most beautiful and meaningful national holidays - a day dedicated to the Eucharist and the real presence of Christ in the sacrament. The feast dates back to the 13th century, inspired by the visions of a nun and officially instituted by Pope Urban IV in 1264. In Portugal, it’s a vibrant mix of faith, community, and stunning traditions: - Flower carpets line the streets in many towns - intricate designs made from petals, leaves, and colored sawdust that the procession walks over - Solemn religious processions wind through cities and villages, with the Blessed Sacrament carried under a canopy - Many churches hold first communions and special masses - Streets are decorated with flowers, banners, and lights - a true feast for the eyes and soul From the grand processions in Braga, Porto, and Lisbon to quieter celebrations in smaller towns, it’s a day that beautifully blends reverence with Portuguese cultural pride. Whether you’re joining a procession, enjoying a long weekend (perfect for a mini escape!), or simply reflecting, Corpus Christi reminds us of the deep Catholic roots that still shape so much of life in Portugal. Are you celebrating, or acknowledging the holiday, this year?

A post-1054 Great Schism Romanist Supremacist Filoquist Azymite (unleavened bread) Heretical innovation, idolising their azymes (as your picture clearly shows). In 1054 what had been the Catholic (and Orthodox) Patriarchate of Rome and the West definitively apostasised from the the Romanists cut themselves off from the other 4 Ancient Patriarchates and the only True Church, by slapping an anathema full of their heretical assertions as listed above on the high altar of Agia Sophia in Constantinople, to which the Patriarch of Constantinople Michael Cerularius responded with an anathema of his own, supported by all the Synods of the 4 Ancient Patriarchates. There have been many more innovations and errors by them since. This was part of a theological civil war in the West which resulted in continuously competing "Popes" and traditionalists (now wrongly classified in most Western histories and lists as "anti-Popes") until 1102 AD. Romanism was specifically rejected and condemned along with its Robber Council of Florence (of 1438 (referred to as the "Meeting at Florence") by the (11th) Ecumenical Synod of Constantinople of 1484) at which all the ancient Patriarchates were represented. Most of Portugal remains Romanist, at least nominally, though increasingly unfaithful to its moral doctrines. However, with the perfect unfolding so far of the 24 part Anonymous Prophecy of Mount Athos, which has now reached part 13, England for the Saxons only, it is only a matter of time, probably not very long (2034-2040, most probably) before this is fulfilled, ever sequentially, to the end which includes the end of the Roman Papacy, one Patriarchate for all of Europe, the return of the Latins amidst rejoicing to the unerring faith of the [True] Orthodox, under one shepherd amidst rejoicing. There are 24 letters in the Greek alphabet, from Alpha to Omega, a name for Jesus Christ, and thus this prophecy is believed to be from Jesus Christ himself!☦️😀
Portugal's other 'F'?
In the spring of 1917, amid the horrors of World War I, three young shepherd children - Lúcia dos Santos (10) and her cousins Francisco (9) and Jacinta Marto (7) - were tending their sheep in central Portugal. On May 13, in a hollow known as the Cova da Iria, they witnessed a dazzling lady “brighter than the sun,” dressed in white and standing atop a small holm oak tree. She identified herself as coming from heaven and asked them to return on the 13th day of each month for six months, urging them to pray the Rosary daily for the end of the war and the conversion of sinners. Over the following apparitions, she revealed three prophetic secrets (including a vision of hell, warnings of future wars, and a call to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart), taught them prayers of reparation, and promised a great miracle. Despite skepticism, mockery, and even imprisonment by local authorities, the children remained faithful. On October 13, 1917, around 70,000 people gathered in pouring rain; the clouds parted, and the sun appeared to dance, whirl, and plunge toward the earth in a multicolored spectacle known as the “Miracle of the Sun” - an event witnessed by believers and skeptics alike, drying their clothes instantly and confirming the apparitions. Francisco and Jacinta died young (as foretold), while Lúcia lived to share the full message, which continues to inspire millions of pilgrims to this day. Where did this take place, and where is there a world-renowned shrine today, where millions of Catholics continue to converge? See Portugal's other two 'F's here

The Fatima Deception by L.A. Merzulli shows it was satanic. Free on YouTube, using local Portuguese primary sources + witnesses. Fatima "Marian" apparitions Immediately condemned by Orthodox Church. A typical attack on Russian Orthodoxy, when Russia was in the throws of Revolution

**UPDATE ON IMMIGRATION LAWS IN PORTUGAL**
With thanks to @Raquel Batista Lighthouse Consulting As mentioned in my previous video, the President has sent the proposed changes to the immigration law to the Constitutional Court. He argues that the process was rushed, lacked proper consultation, and includes vague or unclear legal terms that could hinder its application. Regarding family reunification, he warns that the changes may disproportionately restrict family unity, harm children's well-being, and violate principles of equality and non-discrimination. He acknowledges that if the Court approves it, the law will pass regardless of his veto, and says this moment will be remembered as one where a majority pushed through these changes and will be held accountable in time. Most of ancient Britain was ruled from Rome for hundreds of years, no doubt resulting in some migration there. Following that, there´s been voluntary English migration to Italy since well before the Norman conquest. The "Borgo Sassone" takes its name from the suburb in Rome they established. Some Scottish Jacobites including ancestors of mine fled to Italy. Hence the Via degli Scozzesi in Perugia, Umbria and the Palazzo Stuart Gallenga there in which the Universitá degli Stranieri (University for Foreigners) is situated. An activist resident in Italy for many years played a key role in getting the vote for all UK citizens abroad, sadly dying just before he could exercise it.
