Does anyone in here run full body workouts? I’m considering doing them 3 days a week and wondering if anyone has gotten good results from this split. I know it only gives the muscles 48 hours of rest compared to the 72 hours usually recommended but it seems like a good way to shock the muscles with more volume especially with lighter weight/higher reps.
My aim over the last year has been to find the right balance between frequency and recovery. I found full body workouts too draining at times. What has worked best for me is a 3 day a week push/leg/pull split with progressive overload and ofcourse tracking my lifts. I personally feel like any split would work if you're able to properly recover and enjoy it enough to stay consistent.

@Keith Hanenian Esq I've actually been training for years at this point, currently on a 3 day a week push, legs, pull split with an optional 4th day when I feel energy is high and recovery is on point. I'm currently going through cutting phase. Off topic: you look amazing!
