Building your own Chat GPT
I am an actual beginner and so far I have used GPT for polishing ideas, grammar checks, creating structure, so simple things. But I have heard how people are training their own GPT. Are you guys able to reflect on your pwn experience, how skilled are you with tech, how challenging was the set up, how long did it take you? I am curious but feel already overwhelmed without even starting heheee

Kelli---it's easy! And I'm speaking as a non tech person here....I just learnedthis this year. Just click the microphone where you would normally type in Chatgpt, and just talk to it like it's your friend (or emoloyee) and do a "brain dump" of what you want. You dint have to organize your thoughts; Chatgpt will do that for you. Then, keep "training " it by saying more of what you want over time. For example, my Dr put me on a weight loss plan. I described the plan to chatgpt, and uploaded the pdf my dr gave me that has the list of what proteins I can have, what carbs, what free foods, and I explained her "exchange" system, e.g. 1oz of anything from the protein list equals 1 protein exchange. I said I wanted to be able to just yell "Chatty" every day what I just ate, and have it tell me how many carbs and protein exchanges it equals, and if it was out of compliance for that meal (like, too much carb) what coukd I eat fir the rest of the day to keep the day compliant. I asked for a red/yellow/green dot system to tell me if I'm in compliance or not. I also wanted to be able to upload my favorite recipes and have Chatty parse it out into my doctor's system...e.g. tell me how many cups of my chili recipe equal a lunch or dinner portion (which Chatty knows that Lunch=3 protein and 2 carb exchanges). Etc. It also names my recurring meals for ease because I tend to eat the same things for breakfast, etc. I can also say the brand of whatever I'm eating and it pulls nutrition info from the internet, or I can give it the hrams of carb and protein from the label, and it will parse that into "exchanges". So I said I wanted to create an app or Food Tracker and wanted Chatty to help build the master prompt for this Tracker. So it noted the "rules" from my doctor plan and it noted all of my functional requests. And Et Voilá! It did it! Then....as I used it, I noticed a few mistakes, so I would just tell it--and then it got more accurate at measuring the exchanges. I also asked it to create a log fir the week to give to my doctor, and she wanted it laid out in a specific table, so I uploaded her table document and said "it has to be exactly like this". And it worked. I usually give Chatty a Role to play..."acting as an expert dietician"...."acting as an expert in tax preparation and accounting in the United states...." (yes I created a task agent to itemize my expenses for deduction so I just uploaded my credit card statements to it, aandtold it to remove redundancies, for example if I pay for something with PayPal but it draws from my credit card, that 1 purchase will show up on 2 different statements...I told it some of what goes in what categories because I know my deduction categories, and had it create a section for anything it didn't know what to do with. This saved me hours and I still give it to my accountant to prepare my tax filing ) so give it an Expert Role or point of view, and always say "ask me any clarifying questions ". I will sometimes also tell it to double check itself for accuracy and to "cite your sources ".

@Naturopathic coach Kelli sorry if I described too much. I think you'd benefit from a paid version. You might want Claude or Perplexity for research. I haven't used Grok yet, but am curious to see if it's funnier and more creative than Chatgpt. I would think that it would be great at taking one focus of content and turning it into different pieces (blog post, instagram posts, tutorial, email, etc). Without going deeper with you, I'm not sure what to recommend, or know what the issue is.
What does your morning look like?
🌅 Morning routines — let's compare notes. Mine looks like this: ⏰ [Wake time] - 7.30am ☕ [First habit] - COFFEE 📖 [Second habit] - SKOOL 🚀 [How you start work] - Slowly ⏰ [Bedtime] - when i fall asleep What does yours look like? Drop it below — I'm always looking to optimize. 👇

I have no habit/schedule....too much inconsistency. I will sometimes make a plan for a very productive day and then my body will just go "nah"...so I free-flow and just try to stay productive between home and business to-do lists. Do as much as I can, when I can. I'm not 30 anymore.
Prompting bot or app
Which do you think would be more helpful to you for learning to build ultimate prompts - An app that guides you through how to build prompts, the information is there but you pretty much do all the work - A custom agent that that guides you through how to build prompts like a teacher, helping you build each section - Or an app that builds the prompt for you, you just tell it what you want I put alot of work into building highly detailed prompts for best results

I'm curious about a "glossary "... I like to read people's prompts to get an idea of how to get a certain skin texture or realism, rich cinematic quality or lighting, better more natural speech and dialogue, getting multiple characters to interact in the same clip, getting certain visual effects... what prompt words "get through" to the AI tool...

Wow Manda, and All--- thanks for the sassy AI Pic! I'm old enough to be a grandma, but I'm learning and using AI, lol! And teaching others. I look forward to what this community is about-gotta catch up. I'm just launching my business, like, this week-and I'm not totally ready, but I've gotta move on it. "Chatty" is telling me how to set up my business accounts, and I've created a few AI task agents, and just trying to keep learning and doing something with it every day. I'm also a professional actor, improvisor, leadership trainer, and Hypnotherapist. What else do you want to know? How can I be of help? Thx!
