Guys, I just cut 3 hours from my work schedule whilst making the same amount of money
Basically, I was cut 3 hours a week from my week by cancelling a 2 different group class. How ? I merged two different groups whilst keeping the price the same. The group classes still fell below the maximum 5 students which is good. The other 2 hours I promoted as free but unfortunately the take up wasn’t as I expected so I decided to stop doing 2 hours and start doing 1. Moved a few students around and that’s it. Try this in your business 👍

Scalability for GCSE science
Salaam, I’m debating beginning a GCSE chemistry and Biology tutoring business. How in demand are these subjects and how scalable is the online tutoring business model , for example what could the potential earnings be?

brother @Umair Farooq there is demand for any of the science at GCSE level. Potential earning depends on many factors e.g. hour rate, how many studetns can you enroll and RETAIN, teaching style, 1-1 or group classes, experience etc. My suggestion will be start and build your business and the earnings will get by more by the day.
Advice on employing teachers
I'm at full capacity Alhamdulillah, next step is getting employees right? But it'll be very hard to find someone outside of uk that teaches to the level i do. What would you recommend?

@Zakariyya Recites brother before you employ put a system down that you would like your teachers to follow e.g lesson guide or content depth, sequence of topics. Otherwise everyone will come with their approach and that will damage your quality of service. Also have a follow up system to see if they are following your system. I learnt those two lessons when i employed tutors to help me last year.
Social media online presence
Could you share your best advice on overcoming the fear of creating business or general content for social media? I’m especially interested in how to move past the initial worry about what others might think. For those who have already taken that step and started posting, what did you learn from the experience? Did the fear turn out to be bigger than the reality, and did any of the things you were worried about actually happen?

Sundays are my hardest day
I do 6 hours of tutoring on Sunday. Almost back to back from 11 until 7 with a few breaks in between. My mother often suggest that I should spread them out across the week (since I am free on wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays). I always say "I prefer to be completely free some days than to be half free every day" Which do you prefer ?

I think it’s a matter of what works for you. The way I see it is that online tuition gives you the freedom of location and flexibility on when to work. So maximum based on your personal preference. No standardisation.
