You have made it through 7 days... and your Etsy shop is on the road to consistent sales and profits. Take a moment to pat yourself on the back! You have earned it. What was the biggest thing you learned in the challenge?
Listing: FR- coloring pages, SM - flashcards, ML- Trailer hitch New Listings: 3 in each shop Traffic Sources: Pinterest, email list, Facebook Sales Goal: 10 sales across the three shops I learned something every day. I'm much happier with how my shops look, and I definitely see where my listings need improvement. I changed the name of one shop after doing some research and realizing how much better the shop could be with rebranding. (Peaceful Vibes Lab 🤢 to The Feisty Raven🦅) I'm excited to move forward.
I had posted on Facebook for MotoLife a couple of days ago and got a ton of traffic. I did another post today, and it hasn't had much traction. To be fair, most of my friends are not the target audience for that shop. I also posted it on Pinterest.
Not much margin on POD. The Etsy cost estimator is helpful. I ran a 25% sale on one item in my MotoLife shop and two tumblers in my EMS shop. 50% off on digital downloads.
Funny baby jumper for motorcycle lovers, biker baby bodysuit, gift from Grandma This doesn't have anything exactly like this, but "funny baby jumper" is a term that's used for 6 figure listings.
Another question: I looked at my store that has the most sales and views but I feel would score a 5 from Profit Tree on the niche. I have coloring pages where the primary image is not colored, and I have some that are colored - intentionally. Do you think coloring pages should be colored as an example or not? I also thought about coloring in different colorways to show that you can get more than one shot with my pages.
OK, finally getting there. I got my POD listings back, and for some reason I felt that their mockups were all I needed. I realized that you can't see the graphic. I created a new image with the Printify mockup in the background, and the enlarged graphic in the front. Looks great, and people can now see the graphic clearly without having to click on the image and go into the listing.
