How Hard Should I Push?
So my school is pretty strict about not letting people take an AP in freshman year (well, there is one exception, but I think I would rather just take a different elective) I have already asked if I could take AP Physics 2 next year, and they said no, but I'm wondering if I should appeal this. I think I could be able to appeal this, so my question is not about whether I am able to, but it's whether I should. Is it worth it to appeal to take AP Physics 2 next year, or does it not really matter if I should take it now or later (btw I am planning on being a physics major)
What class to take
Hello skool community! (Wow, I have not looked at this for a while) I am going into high school next year, and I'm skipping PE (taking over summer), which allows me to take an extra elective (school doesn't allow you to acceleration, so I must take an elective). The two I'm debating between are AP Cybernetworking (yes, this is a real course) and Intro to Engineering. I'm going to doube major in physics and math, and dream school is MIT, so both are related to my major. Does anyone have an opinion?
Why do we Only inhale oxygen?
Yk what all the basic science books say, "we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide". But like according to what I know, our surroundings are filled with so many gasses besides just oxygen. So why do we SPECIFICALLY breath only oxygen? I don't see my nose hole having a filter in front of it. 🗿

The common notion that "humans breathe in oxygen, and breathe out carbon dioxide; plants breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen" is highly simplified. Humans, do indeed breathe in a variety of gases, and exhale a variety of gases too (including oxygen! this is why mouth-to-mouth in CPR in works). Plants also absorb oxygen, but they produce more oxygen than they use. All in all, we need a lot of gases that we inhale besides oxgyen, and we don't need a lot of gases (at least to an extent) that we exhale besides carbon dioxide
AMC 10/12
Guys, AMC testing is so close and I just wanted another last minute topic review about the most important topics. Now y'all don't give me the lame just "Algebra" broad stuff. I NEED DETAILS, because I'm trying to lock in for that test so I want to make sure I have everything covered. Alsoooo, any last minute tips on how to get more points on the test?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vImrH84wwKc, but don't just memorize formulas. The test isn't a test of formulas, it's a test of problem solving. I would recommend watching the AIME Mindset video by Beauty of Math to prepare your mental state.
Science Olympiad Prep?
So like is there any other "secret" or lesser known way of studying for the science Olympiad. Obviously I'll do practice tests and such, but if there's anything else I can do, please tell! (P.S.: Any tips for Sci-Oly?)

@Syeda Zainab Fatima I've tried taking notes, but can I just use quizzes and practice tests if I know the concepts?
