How Hard Should I Push?

So my school is pretty strict about not letting people take an AP in freshman year (well, there is one exception, but I think I would rather just take a different elective)

I have already asked if I could take AP Physics 2 next year, and they said no, but I'm wondering if I should appeal this. I think I could be able to appeal this, so my question is not about whether I am able to, but it's whether I should. Is it worth it to appeal to take AP Physics 2 next year, or does it not really matter if I should take it now or later (btw I am planning on being a physics major)
