I thought it would be cool if we made a thread where we each share a couple quick music related tips that you've learned or experienced that will help others in the group. 1. WRITE MUSIC EVERY DAY!!! Even if it sucks in the beginning. 2. Set a minimum amount to write that seems easy to YOU. I commit to writing at least 8bars a day. For me that's light work but I know that on days that I don't feel creative or don't feel like writing that I could knock out eight bars easily and nine times out of 10 they actually be fire. and the beauty of committing to a small amount to write each day, after you write your set minimum you actually will end up writing even more because you've already got yourself into a little groove. Yo wassup everyone my names Aaron Austin, i am an artist from Detroit, MI, and i release music under my own record label. Since the beginning of my music career i decided i did not ever want to sign with a label because i always wanted to be the one in control of my art and how the world receives it.This has been a journey with a lot of ups and downs but one that i plan on being in for the long run.
