Some TIPS for everyone in the Network

I thought it would be cool if we made a thread where we each share a couple quick music related tips that you've learned or experienced that will help others in the group.

WRITE MUSIC EVERY DAY!!! Even if it sucks in the beginning.
Set a minimum amount to write that seems easy to YOU. I commit to writing at least 8bars a day. For me that's light work but I know that on days that I don't feel creative or don't feel like writing that I could knock out eight bars easily and nine times out of 10 they actually be fire. and the beauty of committing to a small amount to write each day, after you write your set minimum you actually will end up writing even more because you've already got yourself into a little groove.
