Check-in
Hi friends, I hope all is well. I'm not going to be able to make the call today, and I couldn't make last week's either (it's evening time for me, so it's hit-or-miss). But I just wanted to share some small wins: things are on track for me after moving house and relocating to another country. I've found an excellent office workspace that I've signed up for for 6 months. And I've found a great gym, which I'm about to sign up for for one year. Just focusing on getting the right systems and environments in place so everything's good to go over this quarter. Still emotionally rough going, but taking the lead in getting things in place and going all-in on building a better future. I'm also going to end this week with one action (leveraging AI) that makes the previous week's system obsolete, at least in principle. I guess that's an ideal way to end each week: take an action and achieve a result your previous self hadn't done before or wouldn't have had in their system and workflow. Sitting with some resistance, so it's helpful to write here. Does anyone else have anything similar?
Time for a shake up
Are you all open to going back to book learning? While I love Ben’s stuff, it gets stale. Or maybe it’s just me. If it’s a “YES,” I’d like to suggest a book that I’ve enjoyed: Beyond Belief: The Science-Backed Way to Stop Limiting Yourself and Achieve Breakthrough Results (released March 10, 2026) by Nir Eyal, with Julie Li, explores how hidden, self-limiting beliefs dictate our actions and offers science-backed methods to replace them. It introduces the "Three Powers of Belief"—Attention, Anticipation, and Agency—to help readers reshape their mental models for improved health, relationships, and career success. If “Yes,” but a different book, provide your suggestion in the comments.

On point @Marcel Haan . I do like the idea of a book to perhaps keep the weekly meetings grounded. I wonder if going through Ben's literature again could be interesting as well. I'm reading Willpower Doesn't Work right now as I hadn't before, and that's been helping–maybe there are things in each book that we can return to so we can fill in any gaps, since his work is the primary starting point. Also, Ben said it could take up to three years to find your One Thing. I'm giving myself a bit of time on that front–as long as I'm heading in the right direction–and getting the right things in place. I'm sure a lot of you are already ahead but maybe it needs time for more stuff to get filtered out so we're in the zone of total clarity to accelerate.

Just to clarify as I was out of the loop over the last month or so, the rising interest in Claude is because of Sam Altman being a total d*ck, is that correct?
Discount Seller
After speaking to people, I changed my strategy and went all-in on one thing. I realised that the one thing that people want the most is discounts. And so, I decided to become a discount seller. If you wanted one of my products at a 10% discount, I’ll sell you just the 10% discount, because that’s the thing you’ll be most excited to tell your friends about. This has proven effective, and business is great. I have a package deal, a monthly offer, and even a subscription service–it’s the hottest thing on the market right now. Of course, this has the word ‘Scam’ written all over it, so don’t quote me on it!

Sharing a PDF of this post I wanted to write here because I couldn't get the formatting right on the Skool platform.
