Exact steps for Certification Process -UPDATED
Many have contacted me asking how to complete this process, so I thought I would lay it out here, step-by-step, in hopes it might help everyone. Ed has created a video outlining the steps, which I will summarize below https://www.skool.com/lifecoachcertificationfree/classroom/8ba4b069?md=023fc73b2bb14a25ba0bb47e14264f32. Here are THE STEPS: Send an email to 'Ed@championacademy.co.uk" containing the following: (since it is highly unlikely that you will be able to send your video via email due to size restrictions, I suggest creating a Google folder, adding these items there, and then sending the link to that folder). 1. A recording of ONE of your coaching sessions: (NOTE: This can be a video or audio - they are evaluating your coaching skills, which come through your language. There is no requirement on length - whether it's 30 minutes or 90 minutes does not matter). UPDATE: If your primary language is something OTHER than English, contact Ed's team at the email above to inquire if you can submit your coaching session in your native language. 2. A completed copy of the Coaching Assessment documentΒ (See attached) of your assessment of that coaching session. (NOTE: This is a SELF-ASSESSMENT where you assess the coaching session you are submitting. This requires NO ONE other than yourself. You submit this form, COMPLETED, with your coaching call.) 3. A completed Coaching Academy feedback form (See attached). 4. An acknowledgment that you have completed all the modules (They can check this behind the scenes so they already know if you did or did not complete them) 5. NOTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE SUBMITTED. Your completion of your "tasking" is accepted on an honor system - they trust you are doing it, and you do not need to submit it. - NOTE: Most videos are too long to send via email - for that reason, I created a Google folder containing all the above and sent them the link to that folder (with access rights) in the email. - The coaching Assessment document is an Excel spreadsheet where you rate how well YOU covered each of the steps outlined in the spreadsheet. This is your best guess at how well you did and what you can improve upon. I don't believe they are looking for perfection, as we are always improving our skills. - UPDATE: many have asked if you need to demonstrate ALL the distinctions covered in the Expert Coach training. I think that would be a challenge to do - based on the self-assessment form, these are the skills you DO need to be able to demonstrate: 1)Creates introduction that is focused and engages the client. 2) Poise and confidence. 3) Pacing of speech. 4) Conveys ideas with originality and clarity 5) Addresses short-term goals 6) Addresses long-term goals 7) Responds to questions
