So today, I curled up with my book and read. Nothing else, just me, my book, and a little pocket of time where everything else could melt away. The noise faded, the demands disappeared, and I travelled to times and places that don’t exist, yet feel vivid and enthralling. Worlds that captivate your imagination so completely you forget, for a moment, that real life is waiting in the wings. But the real world was still there, and far sooner than I wanted, I had to close the book and step back into the day, into reality, carrying with me that little bit of magic even as the world rushed back in.

What feels ok, and what doesn't? 🍂 I want to check in with you all because I want The Creative Cottage to be a completely non-pressured space. Creativity isn't about the hustle—in fact, hustle will just suffocate it. I want you to know that I am absolutely not about that hustle mentality. While I'd love to see this community grow, (and yes, of course I need to generate income) but that isn't my primary goal right now. Your presence, your slow progression, (or fast, if you should so choose) and connections we're building are what is more important to me. I think there's something special about the community we are creating here, and I want to protect that. I deeply value your honesty and your engagement, so I’d love for you to tell me exactly what will work best for you. My biggest priority is making sure this never becomes a place of overwhelm.
