🚀 Cloudonix Velocity Training - Today @ 15:30 EST - IVRs and Voice Agents🚀
Hello All, Today at 15:30 EST (20:30 GMT) we will last week's Cloudonix Velocity Training session (due to Thanksgiving messing up the session). As always, the session will be split into two parts: 🏁 **Part I - IVRs and Voice Agents: Using Container Applications and IVRs for better Voice Agent experiences** 🏁 Humans are accustomed to IVRs, in some cases, older people will get intimidated by an AI Agent that suddenly talks to them. Today we'll do a deeper dive into Cloudonix's container applications, specifically the "static runtime" and "select runtime" blocks - and how to combine these with voice agents. 🏁 **Part II - Ask Me Anything** 🏁 As always, this part will be an open-mic session, where participants are welcome to ask any question or raise any topic, that is directly or indirectly related to telephony, VoIP, AI Voice, building smarter agents, etc. Registration is required - https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/6D63tRaYSDihkJtUlpNp-A Looking forward to meeting some of your later today. Regards, Nir S

Dograh - Anyone familiar with this project?
Hi All, I've stumbled upon an open source project called Dograh. It poses itself as an "Open Source alternative to VAPI/Retell". Seems to be using Pipecat. Any of your familiar with it ?

@Umer Saeed it's open source, so it's designed for local deployment

Well, for each function they have a model called Dograh, but I hadn't dug too deep yet. I'm currently focused on getting it to communicate with Cloudonix, so that people can connect it to any SIP platform out there.
🚀 Cloudonix Velocity Training - Tuesday @ 15:30 EST - IVRs and Voice Agents🚀
Hello All, Due to a mistake on my part, not realizing that last Tuesday was pre-thanksgiving in the US - the Velocity Training scheduled didn't occur as planned. So, we are re-scheduling it for this Tuesday. Tuesday at 15:30 EST (20:30 GMT) we will hold another Cloudonix Velocity Training session. As always, the session will be split into two parts: 🏁 Part I - IVRs and Voice Agents: Using Container Applications and IVRs for better Voice Agent experiences 🏁 Humans are accustomed to IVRs, in some cases, older people will get intimidated by an AI Agent that suddenly talks to them. Voice agents in UAE: Local call numbers
Hey guys, For those in the UAE building voice agents and wanting to use local +971 numbers, how have you gotten round the telco restrictions? There’s been a lot of fraud so you can’t buy UAE numbers through Twilio or Telynx anymore, and the SIP trunk process now requires special approval

Looking for a Full Open-Source LiveKit Setup Platform
Hi everyone, We’re exploring the idea of moving our entire voice AI stack from VAPI, Retell, ElevenLabs to LiveKit. We’re looking for a full open-source setup something more than just the server, ideally a platform that includes: - Knowledge base integration - SIP / telephony support - Live audio/video handling - Anything that makes it closer to a ready-to-use solution like VAPI Does anyone know of an open-source project that offers a full LiveKit-based platform with these features? Any recommendations, links, or experiences would be super helpful! Thanks in advance!

I hadn't yet seen anything like that. Dograh is the closest I've seen, but still has some milage to go.
