Future strategic Atlassian moves: What do you see on the horizon?
I am currently engaged in consulting a german authority regarding the DC EoL. Besides the political aspect which I do not want to cover, there is the technical aspect. What I am curious about is what kind of strategic moves do you already see on the horizon? Like the following: - Asset likely will be untied from JSM - usage based pricing: Asset objects, Rovo conversations, AI usage - push towards collections - more than the usual 10-15% pricing increase when DC is sunsetted Maybe I missed some tendencies, which are already obvious?

In general, everything is pivoting towards Enterprise and will probably continue to do so. I think Atlassian will always have entry level options but some of the good stuff might move to higher tiers like premium or enterprise. Seems like every Team event we also get new products. I see that trend continuing and Atlassian filling the gaps slowly with alternatives. Would not be surprised if they release a CRM at some point or even their own Email and Calendar products.

@Artem Taranenko Spot on! I worked with a few software dev companies that were using spreadsheets for years and had no problems with it. The only switched to Jira when they hired 15+ devs.
Groovy Scripting Learning
Any good recommendations for learning courses fir groovy scripting?

@Santosh Lilani is groovy still relevant with the sunset of DC? 😅
Jira Service Collection Apps
I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Jira Customer Service Management to my cloud premium tenant for months now. As I have been an Atlassian customer for over 5 years, my tenant already existed at the time of the announcement. It was my understanding that existing customers would begin to see the Customer Service Management app appear starting in Feb 2026. Anyone have any idea when I might see mine show up? FYI, I reached out to the Atlassian Community and got zero answers. I reached out to Support and they didn't seem to even know that CSM was a thing. Any insight someone can share would be welcome. Thank you!

I would never rely on what Atlassian says. Their timelines basically mean nothing. Rovo was announced 2 years ago and in just the past few months we finally saw it available for everyone. That being said I have access to CSM and I know others here do too. There is just no way I can confidently say when you will be getting it.
Atlassian Goals - Is there a way to give them more Oomph?
I have Atlassian Goals in my instance been used by Executive Leadership to track Initiatives & Epics at high level. However, when these pile up, a lot of things tend to fall through the cracks. Leadership will need to look at a Summary of whats going on - at high level. 1. Is there a way to automatically have something like a scheduled update Summary of all the Goal updates without manually entering everything into Goals? 2. Issues (Epics, stories) are constantly being worked on... can't there be a way to have these update in Goals on the fly?

+1 for what @Marina Dittrich said. Usually you want goals to be more intentional and have the people responsible for them provide updates. There is also no API for goals right now, the only other option might be Rovo, but I personally find Rovo very unreliable at the moment.
