Good morning tribe!
I took myself off to my friends woodland yesterday. We cooked lunch over the camp fire and had a lovely wander around. The very first woodland anemones has popped up. The daffodils are still out in bloom and you can just see the carpet of green leaves for the bluebells are coming up just in front of them. Some of you here have visited here when I have held my Wild Women of the Woods days during Spring through to Autumn. I have plans for this year’s outdoor gathering for some Sylvotherapy. Watch this space! 😎

Memories, Jane. The first photo shows the entrance to the woods where I lived for about 4 months. The fallen trunks were perfect entrance to the part of the woods I needed in the dark The second picture is the clearing I found to pitch the tent, perfect in the winter cover by the trees above. Being winter, there wasn't much in the way of plant life, but it was home.

Jane, I actually enjoyed it. I'd had two weeks to plan the location, and gather the necessary bedding and equipment. The mornings I had the birdsong and in the evening the hoot of the owl in the distance. I joined a 24 hour gym which meant I could go in and have a shower in the early morning and have a workout...plus, of course, we see -2 degrees C as freezing...it was an adventure...and as the woods changed into Spring what more could a man want...Well, I'll think about that one.
Self-care, what do you do?
After the fortnight I've had (booted off Facebook, tumble dryer packing in, turns out it was just the fuse, and losing my new book document, then found), I'm looking forward to my swapsie session with @Ewa Skabek this morning. It will involve Reflexology and Crasnio-Sacral Therapy and of course plenty of smellies! ❀️ My little munchkins (grandchildren) bring me no end of joy. It was my grandaughter's 3rd birthday yesterday, but I'll be seeing her and her brother Saturday afternoon. I often get told off by my daughter for behaving like a big kid...... do I care? Of course not! πŸ˜‚ My other self-care is taking myself off to a private woodland owned by a good friend, where I run Wild Women in the Woods every summer. I love the woods, the campfire and cooking and eating outdoors. 🌲 I'm also happy as a pig-in-muck when I'm investigating new oils. I've investigated and written about some 250 EO's over the years and I have another 20 odd I'm going to be looking into over the coming months. It's not just the chemistry stuff, I look at that as the oils A&P, I'm more interested in their personality, like finding out what really underlies a clients issues. What do you do for self-care?

Does this sound like you?
Reading the book Gift of Power by Archie Fire Lame Deer, he talks about how it was inconvenient being a Medicine Man, Shaman and Healer because he would be called to administer healing to the tribe which was sometimes scattered across the reservation. The dilemma was, he said, that he was born to be the healer and Medicine Man. Do you feel that you have endured struggles financially or pycholgically because you were born to work in this field?

I'm not sure, they sent a message to say that they'd reviewed my comments and agreed that they did not transgress any of their rules, I could post so I posted to a friend that I'm back on Facebook, he replied and when I tried to reply again the message was I couldn't reply, or post, only read???
Goodmorning Peeps! Points make prizes!
This morning's post is all about 'Levels'. You may have noticed next to your profile picture is a wee number. This denotes the 'Level' you have achieved in this group. Behind the scenes as it were, Skool has a bit of a 'gaming' system. They calculate your interaction in the group. The more you participate through liking, commenting, posting and participating, they award you points. The more points you get, the higher you will level up. This is also a way for us 'admins' of a group to offer you a reward for your participation! This morning I added an essential oil profile to each level. There are 9 in total and I have attributed an essential oil to each level. If you hop on the Classroom tab, you will find various things automatically unlocked for you, depending on what level you are at. If you then click on what is accesible to you, you will enter that specific 'classroom'. In the class, you will find the profile of the oil available for you to download. Once you have done that you need to click on the wee βœ… icon. Doing this will also add to your leveling up points. HOWEVER, if you upgrade to Premium membership for $6 which is just under Β£5 a month, a whole heap more besides the EO profiles will open up to you, including access to a monthly get together for example, and much more. So get cracking, have a read, like comments and posts, make a post as some of you have, explore the Classroom tab and see what is available to you and enjoy!
